We could do 13 + 27 for 16 + 41 + Grundy. If the draft is even after the first few we could still get our player at 16, and 41 will come right in after Brisbane's F/Ss and we don't have a 2nd pick until 54.

Dees should trade out picks 13, 27 and F2 to Cats in return for their 7 and 25.  Dees trade 25 to Filth for Grundy. Cats trade 13 to Filth for Henry.

Dees free up $1m in salary cap by trading out Weids, Hunt, Bedford etc (Jackos exit covers Grundy). Dees target Whitfield (or Georgiades) by trading out our future first round pick plus what we get for Weids.

Dees bring in Grundy and Whitfield (or Georgiades) and go to draft with pick 7.

I like it, Rooter. If Geelong rate Henry at pick 13, which given he was a pick 17 and has shown some handy glimpses at the top level could be a fair trade. I'd want Georgiades ahead of Whitfield though.

It's a good idea but I just don't think Collingwood deserve pick 13.

If no deal is done today then we won't know whether the deal has gone through until the primetime trade week variety hour.

All the Grundy related deals will be embargoed so they can have their TV event

The hold up on this is ridiculous. You telling me that if we had 25 it would be done, but we have 27 so its not getting done?

Just give them Pick 27 and another pick later.. what sit matter.. we are taking 2 picks maybe 3 to the draft.

This embargo, all contrived to get us to tune in when they want us to...just like watching the old Batman TV Series

This is stupid. Talk about milking it for all it's worth. Media discussion has been all day every day for weeks at this point. It's got more coverage than a [censored] war impacting the entire globe. It's shameful.

All part of the brilliance of the AFL in having hundreds of thousands of people hitting F5 every 2 minutes to find out what is going on.

The part that amazes me is that it is Collingwood who has been trying to get  the bun out for 6 months. It wasn't us trying  to seduce him away from the pies. They want  him out. Take it or leave it pies.

Once again it is all about the media. We sold our soul to the devil years ago. If possible it will only get worse.

Not sure the cats would go fr that. OUT 7 , 25 IN 13, 27 and 35 ish.

If you look at it the value of each pick using the points system, the cats end up being slightly ahead with this trade.  Ultimately it will depend on how much the Cats want Henry to fill the void when Tomahawk retires.

I don't recall selling my soul old dee.  More like my having had it extracted by Voldemort.

Cats aren't going to move 6 spots backwards out of the top 10 for a F2 (Pick 30ish). We moved from 33 to 27 for around the same value.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
