What's this about Moloney?

him & jones seemed to be the most consistant players today - our first two goals were delivered via some magic from them both. to loose either one would be horrible..

i dont think we'll have enough experience to make a team by round 6.

Apparently strained a groin. Will we have enough players to make a team by round 6?

Moloney stained it last week to against Hawks and came up. Me thinks the kid will never have a good run with injuries throughout his career

Frawley.

He would be given a few games for sure. That is what hurts even more. Plenty of vacancies in the team at the moment but we cannot try out chip!!!

Dunn has just returned from injury and may still be underdone. As is Sylvia and Pickett.

According to ND Sylvia had soreness. If he is now right then he will play next week.

For those who are brave enought to watch it again, Moloney injured his groin late in the 3rd quarter.

It's when Holland takes a mark on the members side inside 50, chips 20m to Godfrey, outside 50 then Brent comes running round to bomb it through from just inside 50 but Varcoe just bumps/tackles him as he kicks, Brent then hobbles off.

Brent hobbling off is not caught on TV though.

Anyways, that is when the aggravation of his groin occurred.

Yep, but he came back on (despite not looking 100%).

I hope he didn't cause further damage. It's not as if we were a chance to win and we needed him out there!

Well he had the same issue last week. Its an ongoing problem but it occurs in the 2nd half usally. Strained carf...thats all it is. It happend around the same time as last week and hes walking the line after the game. I suspect they may take a gamble and play him this next week...i dont agree we should as we will loose next week anyway with most likelyness and y risk a good player.

He will have injury issues throughout his career i recon.

2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence. The move of “Disco” to a key forward post looks like bearing fruit. Turner has good hands, moves well and appears to be learning the forward craft well. Will be an interesting watch in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #13 Clayton Oliver

Lack of preparation after a problematic preseason prevented Oliver from reaching the high standards set before last year’s hamstring woes. He carried injury right through the back half of the season and was controversially involved in a potential move during the trade period that was ultimately shut down by the club. BLOODY BLUES by Meggs

The conclusion to Narrm’s home and away season was the inevitable let down by the bloody Blues  who meekly capitulated to the Bombers.   The 2024 season fixture handicapped the Demons chances from the get-go with Port Adelaide, Brisbane and Essendon advantaged with enough gimme games to ensure a tough road to the finals, especially after a slew of early season injuries to star players cost wins and percentage.     As we strode confidently through the gates of Prin

Melbourne’s most important player who dominated the first half of the season until his untimely injury in the Kings Birthday clash put an end to his season. At the time, he was on his way to many personal honours and the club in strong finals contention. When the season did end for Melbourne and Petracca was slowly recovering, he was engulfed in controversy about a possible move of clubs amid claims about his treatment by the club in the immediate aftermath of his injury.
