I think the design is brilliant https://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/1048431/melbourne-launches-inaugural-pride-guernsey - keeps our traditional colours an weaves the Pride colours in too.

Am fascinated to see what it looks like from the back.

Looks great. Seems to have a few triggered on the socials which is a bonus.

My feeling is that your comment will be a foreboding of events to come in this thread....

I know people get a bit antsy about the Afl and causes for want of a better word.

However this and mental health are definitely worth rallying around. And so often these two things are sadly connected. The suicide rate in Oz is becoming a national tragedy.

Reach out anyone, I beg you if you are struggling.

I like it. Blends naturally with our traditional colors...as opposed to this shocker from the doggies

That looks like the bodysuits they were wearing in Tron! They just need one of those goofy bike helmets to add to it.

I love, love, love it. I would buy it for my daughter and myself for us to wear to most games - AFLW and mens. Does anyone know if we're selling it? Can't see anything in the Demons shop. And hopefully we make it in mens size.

I've seen a few people asking on socials, so hopefully someone will be able to answer.

Definitely one of the nicer guernseys I've seen for this round. Carlton had a shocker the other year that looked some rainbow coloured sick running out from the bottom right hand corner of their CFC logo.

Gotta love the number 14 Lily Mithen.  She’s a dynamo both on field as she plays with great intensity but also her fun vibrant fast thinking personality off field.  Daisy. Lily. Libby. Such great teammates and leaders for this Dees team.

Totally agree  NS and think that the Pride guernsey is fantastic in design and colour. Also in its meaning.

Magnificent and totally blows the Pies token effort to bits.

It's a ripper, isn't it! (would have been even nicer if the colour transitioning in the numbers had matched the subtlety of the yoke's).

Men's shape, too, Allus? I think the women's guernsey has a gathered(?) waist and flare(?) over the hips? (not such a prob, though, if you'll be wearing it Zanker-style!😉

I noticed, in the club site vid about the guernsey, that the girls, and Stinear, were at pains to tell it is for diversity of all sorts, not just in sexuality and gender (indeed, the lack of reference to LGBTQI+ - save for the appreciation of the Ruby Demons - was noticeable). I'm not well versed in these things: does the rainbow's embrace extend beyond those letters (and their '+')?

Just saw that the Pies have theirs on sale so checked if happening for ours too - unfortunately, doesn't look like it.

There's are tshirts available at Cotton On though, not nearly as nice!

Would you seriously consider the Pies jumper in the same category as Ours?

Very underwhelming on the front makes a joke of  the Effort IMO.

I didn’t really consider it given it’s a Pies jumper. Always looks ugly to me! But at least they’re selling them…

After sustaining a torn ACL in the final match of the 2023 season Jake added a bit to the attack late in the 2024 season upon his return. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence. The move of “Disco” to a key forward post looks like bearing fruit. Turner has good hands, moves well and appears to be learning the forward craft well. Will be an interesting watch in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #13 Clayton Oliver

Lack of preparation after a problematic preseason prevented Oliver from reaching the high standards set before last year’s hamstring woes. He carried injury right through the back half of the season and was controversially involved in a potential move during the trade period that was ultimately shut down by the club. BLOODY BLUES by Meggs

The conclusion to Narrm’s home and away season was the inevitable let down by the bloody Blues  who meekly capitulated to the Bombers.   The 2024 season fixture handicapped the Demons chances from the get-go with Port Adelaide, Brisbane and Essendon advantaged with enough gimme games to ensure a tough road to the finals, especially after a slew of early season injuries to star players cost wins and percentage.     As we strode confidently through the gates of Prin

Melbourne’s most important player who dominated the first half of the season until his untimely injury in the Kings Birthday clash put an end to his season. At the time, he was on his way to many personal honours and the club in strong finals contention. When the season did end for Melbourne and Petracca was slowly recovering, he was engulfed in controversy about a possible move of clubs amid claims about his treatment by the club in the immediate aftermath of his injury.
