As will I. Not missing the flag being unfurled.

Coming down from northern NSW. Had to miss the celebrations. I'm not missing the grand old flag going up.

The only way to get a prime time Friday slot is to keep winning flags and grow our supporter base right across the country.

TV Ratings rule.

It's a bummer about the annual leave we will burn for this but we'll be there with you all. Let's fill the G and smash them again.

Can't wait.

It's a chance for Demons to extend the delight.

First televised game - grand final replay - Lets make it a blockbuster TV event

First game at the MCG - unfurl the flag in front of fans - Lets make it a bloblockbuster attended game

First Saturday game at the MCG - repeat the family day content and entertainment outside the ground if necessary - repeat the unfurling and parade the cup - premiership players and full squad involved after game.

Lets show the AFL that we are passionate and proud supporters who can watch TV and can watch replays but like to attend matches. Only Covid has affected our attendance. We will gather from far and wide and provide an economic stimulus to the city when we attend games.

Why does the AFL insist in dribbling out the fixtures. FFS just anounce the all the games when they have worked it out. I find it infuriating.

I really like the Port fixture in Alice Springs

I haven’t enjoyed getting flogged by them 3 years in a row 🙄 Let’s hope we can reverse the trend!

Like I said on another post, would you rather play the Suns on a Sunday twilight game in front of 17 people instead?? I get that Wednesday night is hardly a family/work friendly slot but we are opening the entire season in a grand final rematch that we bloody won. The negativity on this forum is astounding.

We better not be sent down to Geelong.

Used to always be the case. Like clockwork we were sent there and got pantsed.

But now I think it doesn't matter so much even if it would be fair for cwood to go there just once.

We smash geelong anywhere.

Provided we're fixtured an away game against Geelong you can bet your life we will be sent to Geelong.

I'd imagine the AFL will want Geelong and us to meet twice.

Geelong usually play 2 home games in Melbourne and one of those is already confirmed to be Essendon.

Seriously why can't we play west coast at home? Also I think it's harsh we play the last round interstate.

St least we only play essenscum once & I can't believe we have to trek back to Geelong.

Is may 8th mother's Day? Great fixturing 1pm.

MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
