Any idea on when or where these will be made available to the public?

Anyone on Demonland who has their finger on the pulse?

We've only had to wait 57 years, we are awfully thirst and could do with some Premiers 2021 Melbourne logo beers.

Argh!ย  I'd load up on cases of these if they were sold to the public.ย

I asked them and they said it'll only be for that promotion, and they only made a very limited amount. At a guess the 57 for the promotion, 1 for the auction and around 200 that the players drank after the game and in the following daysย ๐Ÿคช

Lost sales opportunity for furphy.

I'd buy a six pack to display one in the normal furphy is quite good but the crisp isย cats p..

surely they could do some commemorative cans of the normal furphy. I'd buy a summer's worth in one hitย

ย

Clearly my FB 'Furphy' about sneaking into the Bulldogs room at half time and dropping a fartย ร  la Mark Bickley at half-time of the 1993 Preliminary Final which is what caused both Adelaide and the Bulldogs to capitulate in the second half didn't cut the mustard to get a slab.ย  Disappointing.

Giving that CUB made about a billion cases of Richmond premiership beer it really is odd that Lion wouldn't do the same.ย

Different supporter size and demographics.

I was lucky enough to win one of the 57 they were giving away on FBย ๐Ÿ˜ย

How'd you access the competition? I searched high and low for details to try and enter but couldn't find any.ย

Yes and no. Not like weโ€™re minnows, even if we are half the size of Richmond thatโ€™s a fair market. And Iโ€™m pretty sure we like beer. I wouldnโ€™t make millions of the stuff but the little premiership sticker above the logo and some different packaging wouldnโ€™t be impossible.ย

Maybe Neita can make some unofficial premiership brew.ย

I'm going to go all Karen and send an email, but not sure who too. Surely our major partner could produce a commemorative beer to celebrate a 57 year drought for the fans. charge 25% extra or whatever there has to be a business case to make it work.ย

The produced 57 cartons so surely they could do a limited run of a few thousandย

Surely they could produce a limited edition of 2021 cases. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ’™โค๏ธ

Sadly a rubbish beer. However, if it were VB...

Surely you joke. VB! Give me strength.

Suspect its limited edition because cub is major sponsor of afl

It is actually owned by Lion. Not CUB.

It was tongue in cheek because I was expecting a response like that, but I do love a Vic!ย

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmyโ€™s inclusive bannerโ€”"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwoodโ€™s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.ย

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecastโ€”20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze โ€” expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kateโ€™s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwoodโ€™s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
