At Seven now.

Who has got the record?

Anything new jump out?

Bbb must have got amongst the votes.

Fritta is catlike.

I can see why people want back to back flags.

I watched it after the game Saturday night and I’ve had it on every night since. So I would say 8 times in full. I try sneak in some highlights during my work day multi call, social media ect

We are having a Melbourne  marathon, kicked off with Lions qualifier, now watching Cats Prelim. Takeaway then GF feeling pretty confident after the way we are playing against the cars. Ohhh bliss.💕💙❤️😀

I’m watching the Prelim on Fox now too. With  10 minutes to play in the 3rd the commentary is ‘what an amazing 16 minutes by Melbourne’.

And to think it got better. Ridiculous. We have been blessed to see this team.

Who can ever tire of watching the last 10 minutes of the third quarter…more inspiring on every viewing

Viney’s work off the ball to give Harmes a clear run.
Harmesy will remember that kick for the rest of his life

If fans can remember how many times they have watched the replay in full or highlights then obviously they haven’t watched enough.

I can close my eyes at nights and just about see all our goals in order. I guess that will do it but I cant help myself.

I've watched the Brisbane game and am watching the Geelong game.

Here are some observations:

When the talk was  about OMENS, most people forgot about the 2 most apt: That Hassa secured top spot with a goal at Glenferrie Oval, from a pocket in a mudheap. Siren goes. Result, we finish on top. Big Max scores after the siren against Geelong. Result, we finish on top. End result, 2 Flags.

- All of the players at some stage in the finals earned their places. Sparrow and Neale Bullen were great against the Lions, Fritsch kicked 4, Rivers was great, Spargo and Pickett and Jackson and Langdon were superb. .

- Against Geelong, Spargo, Jackson and Pickett were wundebahr.

- During all three games, Oliver, Gawn, Petracca and Viney and Brayshaw and Salem were stupendous.

- Brown was a god-send in all 3 games.

- Melbourne were without doubt the best team for 95% of the year.

I’ve watched the Kayo mini about 10 times and bits and pieces of the full replay on and off for the last 7 days so couldn’t say precisely.

I could watch the last 8-10 mins of the 3 rd quarter infinitely it was that good.

My sons and wife keep passing by each evening saying "are you watching it again?"

Entire game x 3

Last half x 8

Last half of 3rd quarter... don't know, possibly 20. I get to the "Bang! Bang. Bang. Bang." part and I'm still pumping my fist, swearing (I'm actually not much of a swearer usually) and being totally obnoxious.

I do. It just makes the comeback and subsequent slaughter more satisfying.

Full replay six times.

  • REPORT: West Coast

On a night of counting, Melbourne captain Max Gawn made sure that his contribution counted. He was at his best and superb in the the ruck from the very start of the election night game against the West Coast Eagles at Optus Stadium, but after watching his dominance of the first quarter and a half of the clash evaporate into nothing as the Eagles booted four goals in the last ten minutes of the opening half, he turned the game on its head, with a ruckman’s masterclass in the second half.  No superlatives would be sufficient to describe the enormity of the skipper’s performance starting with his 47 hit outs, a career-high 35 possessions (22 of them contested), nine clearances, 12 score involvements and, after messing up an attempt or two, finally capping off one of the greatest rucking performances of all time, with a goal of own in the final quarter not long after he delivered a right angled pass into the arms of Daniel Turner who also goaled from a pocket (will we ever know if the pass is what was intended). That was enough to overturn a 12 point deficit after the Eagles scored the first goal of the second half into a 29 point lead at the last break and a winning final quarter (at last) for the Demons who decided not to rest their champion ruckman at the end this time around.

  • POSTGAME: West Coast

Following a disastrous 0–5 start to the season, the Demons have now made it three wins in a row, cruising past a lacklustre West Coast side on their own turf. Skipper Max Gawn was once again at his dominant best, delivering another ruck masterclass to lead the way.

  • GAMEDAY: West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have a chance to notch up their third consecutive win — something they haven’t done since Round 5, 2024. But to do it, they’ll need to exorcise the Demons of last year’s disastrous trip out West. Can the Dees continue their momentum, right the wrongs of that fateful clash, and take another step up the ladder on the road to redemption?
