No, I was going by those in red tops. Hunt, Melksham and Jordon. May mean little of course.

Fair enough. I thought they were the emergencies, make sense they are in red to get involved.

I dont like this

"Concern at Melbourne training for Charlie Spargo, who appeared to twist his ankle in a tackling drill. Looked in some discomfort. Now being assessed."

    Spargo injured?

    Can't see Spargo.

Bailey Laurie debut hero?

Do yourself a favour and switch off.  Players come on and off the track all time.  I’m sure it’s nothing major.

No longer missing kicks by 10 metres with no pressure. May is fine.

Twisted ankle ain't keeping me out of my outback ressies gf. It won't keep Charlie out. Surely precautionary.

Update 15

  • Still match sim . . . about 20 mins in. Viney kicked a nice goal.

Update 12

  • Training been going for just over an hour.
  • Woowee recons no changes.
  • May and Smith continuing to do 50 metre run-throughs at around 50 percent with a short break in between.

I keep looking at this wondering why Brian Taylor is so involved in our training.

Update 16

  • Match sim finished
  • Set shots at goal drill - start at 50 metres and run into 35 metres.

Yep. Have played an entire finals series with a sprained ankle. That’s what tape and injections up to your eyeballs are for and when you can’t walk the next day after a GF, you just keep on drinking until you can.

It’s going to be a long week. I’m in danger of being exhausted before we even get there!

I’ve had several breakdowns already.

Update 17

  • 4 drill running inside the centre square - 50 metre sprints at 80 percent.
  • Bergo running this drill.
  • Max and Jackson didn't participate.

Update 18

  • Set shot drill. Kicking from 30 to 50 metres out.
  • Max not in drill. Everyone else is.

Max doesn’t need set shot practice. He only kicks when on the run now.

IS SPARGO OKAY

He'll be fine. Has his boots off and hasn't even got ice on it.

Update 19

  • Max and Tommy Petty doing 40 metre kick-to-kick drills. Others still doing set shots.
