Watching other top 4 teams put away bottom sides vs us struggling go figure

Yes but beating top sides is even more impressive and important. Don’t meet bottom 4 in the finals.

why do people assume a good player will make a good coach?

Gold Coast tried hard. Shame.

G C are an irrelevant football club, until they potentially beat us next week. Would rather AFL put rime into Tassy I

Gee the lions put on a clinic. Both matches have petered out.

Thank god I can switch over to the Olympics before our game starts.

Im calling Anthony Mundine out as a complete [censored] for his anti mask rhetoric.

Because we needed another reason to call him that.

On a lighter side if you want a really good laugh...i urge you to find the footage of the fire dancer at the sydney protest.

They hosed him out.

Funnier than Aunt Mabels [censored] in the wringer.

Wish I could find it.

Was Channel nine news in Sydney covering the anti whatever protest. I think the fire dancer was part of the entertainment portion until he dissappeared under a cloud of anti flame chemicals.

Until now….

Suns must have got the 'stop trying' call from HQ at half time.

For those who want to get their hopes up unreasonably, Fremantle currently leading Sydney by 8 points.

A win to Fremantle means that 2-2 from here guarantees us a top 5 finish.

Watching this game in the sun you’d be forgiven for thinking it’s a different sport to the game last night.

Anyma

It would seem the umpires have their money on a bulldogs v cats final

Isaac Smith would have made a big difference for us this year. Oh well

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.

  • POSTGAME: North Melbourne

The Demons are finally back at the MCG and finally back on the winners list as they continually chipped away at a spirited Kangaroos side eventually breaking their backs and opening the floodgates to run out winners by 6 goals.
