dees189227 12,509 Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 Hope freo beat the hawks, somehow it would be great if sydney could knock off the dogs and ginats beat gold coast and it would be so good if Carlton could upset the cats. Glad I was out last night and missed that horrible game. 1 Quote
Rab D Nesbitt 8,951 Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 Looks like the Tasmanian public have given up on North and Hawthorn. I guess there's only so much dross they're willing to put up with. 1 Quote
Mr Steve 3,820 Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 So are the Hawks this bad or are they laying down waiting to try and take a big scalp next week. Or Both. Quote
OhMyDees 1,834 Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 Hawks also sustaining injuries to both Scrimshaw and Brockman… Quote

Demon Jack 7,194 Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 Scrimshaw and Jiath likely outs next week for Hawthorn. Getting absolutely rolled by Freo at the moment who aren't even playing that well. Quote
Bring-Back-Powell 15,529 Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 I should be confident of a regulation 6 goal win against Hawthorn next week, but I’m not. They’ve been completely out classed by a middle of the road Freo. Quote

Yes the maggots let them get away with murder that last 2-3 minutes, but we should never have allowed them to get that close. Very disorganised defence (Salem out for Jetta) and some millionaire moments from our mids. 6 hours ago, old dee said: It beggars belief but then we lost because of an umpire so I consul myself with that. dees189227 12,509 Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 Maybe the hawks players are a bit flat after learning tis week Sam Mitchell will be coaching them after next season. It's amazing, freo kick accurately and they have a good win. Don't give Carlton much chance today. 2 big outs with Casboult and Liam Jones late outs. Quote
Jaded No More 68,976 Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 Jones a massive out for Carlton. They have no chance now. Quote
Rab D Nesbitt 8,951 Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 Could've done with some of this fog for the game last night. 1 2 Quote
darkhorse72 1,942 Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 Competitive start by blues, better if they could kick straight. Hawks - I guess they just heard their coach has been sacked, it does affect players, as they start thinking of what Mitchell wants and not Clarkson... Quote
Jaded No More 68,976 Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 Carlton going 9% by foot is not going to help them. 2 Quote
Adam The God 30,706 Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 Weitering is a gun and will slot in nicely at full back when May retires. ;) 1 1 Quote

Feeling back at home @Rab D Nesbitt? Not sure if you're from Edinburgh, or could be up in the Orkney's , or elsewhere, but there is a bit of a haar' (if I recall correctly.) Anyway, lets hope there are plenty of soft tissues today... Edited July 10, 2021 by Engorged Onion Quote
Return to Glory 8,518 Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 This is where I get paranoid. For no logical reason whatsoever, I'm convinced that a couple of the Blues' 7 points would have rolled the other side of the post if playing us. And that Geelong gets lucky far too often. 1 Quote
Jaded No More 68,976 Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 Anyone under the age of 28 in a Geelong jumper who isn’t a D grader? Quote

Hey EO, yeah haar is a great word. I'm from the fishing town of Fraserburgh on the north eastern tip. Known to locals as The Broch. Quote
rumpole 539 Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 Geelong have played a number of similar games where the opponent has taken it up to them and had the rotten end of the stick with kicking for goal or umpires decisions. A few games could easily have gone the other way. Carlton are shockers - they did the same against the Eagles and could easily have been close to the eight if luck went their way. 2 Quote
Return to Glory 8,518 Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 Four goals in half a game of footy. No wonder crowds are down. 1 Quote
DubDee 26,666 Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 15 inside 50s for Carlton. 10 scoring shots 3 shots that didn’t score How are Geelong in the top 4?!?! 2 Quote
Adam The God 30,706 Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 1.9 is atrocious. And we complain about our goalkicking. :P Carlton need another tall target, otherwise they're far too one dimensional. 1 Quote
Jaded No More 68,976 Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 Geelong get exposed at the G. They beat Richmond Collingwood and Hawks there. Lost to us by 25 points. Hardly convincing. The big space doesn’t suit their slow legs. They rely heavily on being one kick away from their forward 50. 1 Quote
dl4e 5,851 Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 Carlscum are wasting this. Would love to see girlong lose. Lyon keeps talking up carlscum all the time. It seems they are spanish fly to the commentators. Quote
