Someone must be doing the job on T. Greene. Quiet in the 3rd.

Just leave gawn FF. Jackson can ruck

Gawn is not a natural forward. Experiment over. Let's bring in a real forward. Say  ....ben brown . Mitch brown....?

Nice manly jostling at 3/4 time Clarry...how about about getting involved in the [censored] game?

Just now, Boots and all said:

I'm noticing our small forwards are getting in too close to the marking contest.

Well someone's got to try there's no one else

I was more thinking of protecting him. He's getting bashed around on & off the ball

If Harmes and ANB try and break any more tackles instead of the first option they should have their legs broken

Harmes can [censored] right off

GWS defense has been immense all game. Have to give it to them.

It looks like Harmes isn’t overly popular with his teammates today. Lot of arguing and finger pointing.

[censored] [censored] [censored] Whitfield.

[censored]

I love Oliver but his brain fades have been horrific today, turnovers galore.

Playing 25 minutes of half event football is just too much for this group at the minute.

That’s [censored]. Oliver wouldn’t have kicked it and turned it over if the umpires were consistent with the htb rule. He knew wearing red and blue would’ve been called if he went to ground

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
