Tigers rolling the clock back to the late 1980's is a lovely sight. More please.

No dusty magic tonight. All round horror show from the Tiges. Given their percentage they need to win all their games from here to get Top 4. Can't see it happening. Hoping they disintegrate from here.

All Richmond have to do is lose to one of Geelong, Brisbane or GWS up there and they’ll miss top 4.

No side in the 18 club era has made top 4 with 14 wins.

Richmond look like a tired side. It happens to all sides who have been up and about. So Richmond it is now time to say to thanks for the memories but you can now go and get stuffed. You owe us 54 years rent for denigrating the MCG as your home ground so pay up or pizz of to Punt Road.

Only one team since 2012 (18 clubs era) has finished in the top 6 with a 13-9 record.

Therefore, assuming Richmond finish the season 6-2 on the run home (and that’s being generous), I have them finishing 7th and a fair chance of travelling to Port or West Coast in week 1 where they’ve struggled of late.

I’ll wager the kids and the cats that Richmond won’t win the flag this year.

Sounds like Balta has done his ACL which won’t help their cause. Poor guy.

Gee it is bit depressing that even stkilda can thrash a team & dominate & a good team at that.

I just want us to thrash a team

I'll take being on top of the ladder, thanks.

St Kilda won't be playing finals and more than halfway through the season, we're in the hunt for the minor premiership.

Another thing, all those Demonlanders that bang on about our midfielders' ball use, Dusty Martin is a very 50-50 kick. He can kick it beautifully, but he's never been consistent at it.

Just remember though, without Martin's heroics, there'd be no Tigers flags at all. They've also had a dream run with injuries. Didn't have a single injury to a key player in 2017 and that'll take you places.

Negative dream-team points is something that should be celebrated.

Makes Chandler and Weid’s recent DT points look quite impressive.

Gee the arrogance to play Ryan, no. 32

Hardwick just thinks he can create footballers out of thin air. His first contest was too physical for the poor bloke. He's barely VFL standard.

And Dusty just doesn't think he needs to chase anymore. One way runner and barely that. Certainly not in my AA team. Trac and Bont and even Toby Green have gone straight past him. With respect to his three premiership medals and Norm Smiths and B&F's etc but in 2021 he's dropped right off.

I think they might finish 9th at best.

I’d prefer Austin Bradke.

Young Austin jagged an impressive 22 DT points in his last Casey start. 2 more than Ben Brown in that game.

Tigers were atrocious last night. Cotchin took some angry pills with cheap shots all over the field, Pickett was trying to take mark of the year in the backline knocking over his teammates in the process, Balta before his injury was trying to play dry weather football and Dusty looked like he wanted to be on a bean bag in front of the fire.

The Saints were just ok, nothing special but the Richmond performance stunk of arrogance.

I see Daniher got a fine for his dive. Good.

2 great games this arvo. Wow cannot choose which one to watch. Nth v GC or pies V freo. Hope freo kock off the pies and get closer to the 8 to knock out the tigs and get above essendon.

I wonder how many fans will be at marvel today?

At least Port v Sydney should be good.

WOW. In 55% time on ground - 1 hitout and 1 free kick against.

I hope he gets a call from Kade Simpson to cheer him up.

Must agree... Saints rarely had clean possession but they managed to kick some goals.

Makes you wonder about the surface. Have not seen so many unpressured fumbles for a while

You can rule a line through the Tigers for the season. On his post match coaches interview Dimma saying that injuries to crucial players have impacted the team. Actually he said he didn’t want to blame injuries but ….. If players believe the coach thinks they can’t win without certain team mates on the ground then they are knackered. It is why you don’t hear coaches blaming injuries

Saints play Cats,  Swans,  Lions,  Eagles and Port in run home.

I reckon they will do us a few more favours in our bid for top 2 this year. They are a better team than what they've displayed so far so hopefully we see more of last night's effort moving forward!

No excuses for the Dees in 2019 though...:mahoney2:

Bianco for Collingwood is being talked up a bit but I think he comes across as a little dull, plain white if you will.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Essendon

It’s Pink Lady night at Princes Park — a vibey Friday evening setting for a high-stakes clash between second-placed Melbourne and eleventh-placed Essendon. The wind-sheltered IKON Park, a favourite ground of the Demon players, promises flair, fire and a touch of pink. Melbourne has never lost a home-and-away game here, though the ghosts of two straight-sets finals exits in 2023 still linger.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 1 Steven May

The premiership defender has shown signs of wear and tear due to age, and his 2025 season was inconsistent, ending poorly with a suspension and a noticeable decline in performance. The Demons are eager to integrate younger players onto their list and have indicated that they may not be able to guarantee him senior games next season, in what would be the final year of his contract.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 2 Jacob van Rooyen

The young key tall failed to make progress during the season, with a decline in his goal kicking output. His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.
