Commentators not even pretending they aren't barracking for North. Pathetic.

Dunstall, Huddo and Healy barracking for north. Disgusting

Umpire calling play on when player hasn't moved rubbish

Thank God Ben Brown is injured. Goal immediately. no coincidence.

Jordan!  Nice game today

Wiederman is far more agile and influential than Brown. It's clear.

Yep. Disgusting really. D-Grade team.

Take a bow J Jordon. Composure when it was needed most. Well done son.

You really are a piece of work

Can we put them away now please. PLEASE.

Finally Tracc back into the middle.  Not sure why he was forward for so long.   Cant finish in front lately.

Agreed, I was all for Brown coming in but unless our crumbers are making an effort at his feet (they haven’t today) he’s a bit useless.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
