I got all 9 last week I think. (It wasn't hard)

This week is medium to slightly hard in the level of difficulty

Bulldogs ( would love a GWS win)

Geelong ( a hard one but at Kardinia Park they should win)

Swans ( GCS could upset but I doubt it)

Lions

MFC ( of course)

Freo

Hawks ( Crows for those who want a value pick especially if cold and windy in Tassie)

Pies(should win but who knows)

Port

Dogs

Girlong

Gold Coast

Bears

them

Freo

Hawks

Filth

Port

Hopefully the Giants can get one over the doggies tonight.

General comment. I missed not having a game to watch last night. I'd like to see some Thursday games scheduled during the rest of the season.

Why do people still rate the Cats? Struggled at home against north!

WC choked against the Saints but it won’t happen again. Can’t believe Cats are clear favs. I’ll be loading up on the weagles

Don't punch the TV screen then. Save it for tomorrow night.

Won’t be mine. But they will savage each other

GW$ will go close tonight, might even pull it off

Blood will be spilt

I think the dogs will give GWS a bath.

Man bites dog! That should make a great cartoon poster. Like those ones of dogs playing poker, or pool.

WHO CARES X 8

DEES OVER TIGERS.

What I wouldn't give for a GWS win tonight, a Dees win tomorrow night and for Nathan Jones to be in a side that is on top of the ladder after kicking a couple of snags in his 300th.

Anyone tempted by $13 for north to win next week in Tassie??

7-0 says no

We owe them years of pain

I loved this from Titus on the Anzac Day game:

I do love the ANZAC Day clash though, partly because the build-up is so fun. When talking to Pies and Bombers supporters, question whether the two clubs are good enough to hold on to it.

Forecast for match day not up on the BOM site yet but next Thursday is looking almost balmy by Hobart standards.. 20 and light winds.

If that holds North are no chance

Current 14 day forecast for Hobart for 2nd May is 20 degrees , light winds and little or no rain.

Perfect

Freo game likely to go ahead but no crowds.

Could impact our North game the following week though if things go haywire.

Tassie like WA very strict.

In short...who knows

If Tassie lock the teams out, play it in Melbourne.

If VIC allows North back straight away you'd imagine our game next week will be transferred to Marvel Sunday 1:10pm, if Tasmania won't allow North in their state.

I watched the VFL match on Foxtel between GWS and the Doggies. Doggies easy winners, but got to see both Hogan (4 goals) and Hannan (3 goals), going around.  Casey Dees are on next Thursday night.

  • Thank You Simon Goodwin

As Demon fans, we’ve ridden a rollercoaster of emotions over the decades; the heartbreaks, the near misses, the wooden spoons, and the endless waiting. But through it all, we clung to hope. And then came Simon Goodwin. Before he ever wore red and blue, he was a champion in his own right. A five-time All-Australian, two-time Best and Fairest, and two-time premiership hero and Captain with Adelaide, Simon Goodwin was always destined to lead. When he transitioned from the field to the coach's box, first as an assistant at Essendon, he began shaping a new legacy.

  • PREVIEW: Western Bulldogs

Long ago and far away, the Melbourne Football Club replaced its coach in difficult circumstances after the team suffered a devastating loss. In the aftermath, I penned the following words: “Then came the politics, the intrigue, the axing, the sound of the football world laughing at a club, the circling of the media vultures, the reinvention of history, the anger, the irony, the pathos, the hurt on the face of the president, the dignified departure of the coach, and the determination of the newly appointed caretaker.” Today, we’re back in the same place although one difference here is that the coach who was terminated this time is Simon Goodwin, the man who four years ago

  • REPORT: West Coast

The Charles Dickens novel, A Tale of Two Cities, opens with, “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, …”  This phrase highlights many of the significant challenges that humanity encounters in life, ranging from experiencing remarkable highs to living in times of despair. This is a concept that should resonate with all supporters of the Melbourne Football Club this morning as they reflect on its comprehensive 83-point victory over the struggling West Coast Eagles at Marvel Stadium. The outcome proved beyond doubt that they are the worst of clubs and that we are the best of the worst.

The Demons return to town fresh off a thumping win over the back-to-back wooden spooners, the West Coast Eagles, played in front of a sparse crowd at Marvel Stadium, the same venue that hosted last week's heartbreaking loss.
