I did click on N52. It said there were seats available. When I clicked to except my tickets, I found the tickets allocated to me were on the other side of the ground. Is there some link that I should be using that I have missed?

No idea. That has never happened to me. Since I worked out that you could physically click on the bay and secure those tickets I have not had an issue doing it that way. Previously I was selecting best available and got tickets in the Southern Stand which were actually quite good but my preference is in the N sections of the Olympic Stand.

Can someone help me? I have reserved seats in Bay N52. I go to Ticketek, into my barcode, enter the Melbourne allocation, click on N52, which it tells me has seats available, but when I am allocated the seats, they are on the other side of the ground! Is there any special technique on the Ticketek site to get seats in the position that you indicate?

Don't know if this help but I believe the map they use is up side down.

Right so you go through gate 5 and then they find that someone went into gate 1 and has the virus so they don't need to contact you. But you get into the same train carriage as this person from gate 1 after the game at Richmond station ?????? I am sorry but this whole system has that many floors in it that it is a load of bovine shizen.

Your not wrong there, just typical bull from those in power.

Same thing happened to me in round 1.

I think what happens is that Legends, Tridents and Redlegs are all grouped together as one premium group, and from there it's first in best dressed.

That's how @Demonlandhas been upgraded to N49, and @Cal7B relegated to N52.

The top deck of the ponsford is great.

The key though is not going above AA. Its too high

I'm more of an Olympic, top deck man myself. But Q29 in ponsford in front of the scoreboard last week wasn't bad.

Does anyone know if reserved seats members who get early access can purchase GA or other tickets? I have a reserved seat, but my brother and GF have  3 game memberships. No idea how I can ensure we sit together.

You have to wait until 5pm for lower priority. Then enter all your barcodes at the same time. So effectively, you have to wait for the lowest membership in that group to become available

Got seats in the same row as my usual reserved seat. m50 wing. No complaints.

can you still use a junior ticket? thats all im getting allocated.

Probably but how is that possible, you would have to have a barcode to be accessing this window?

All gd lads it aligned me with adult tickets. ?

I’m so annoyed. I got allocated some [censored] seats behind the goals on level 2 when every other week we got to sit in our M50 bay. I ended up getting Junior tickets in M14 as well, because I refuse to pay so much for a reserved seat and end up stuck in a crap seat for a home game.
I hope we don’t end up surrounded by Richmond supporters because I won’t be happy!

No idea why we didn’t just get our normal bay allocation! ?

Did you have to do anything because I'm having the same issue. Lets me get one adult but other ticket is for 1-5 year old.

You can literally pick your bay?

Hey Ollie, same thing has happened to me twice now. Exact opposite side of the ground to what I selected.

im not complaining though I’ve been given N49 right next to MCC level 2, absolute crackers!

My reserved seat is N52 also, we’ve probably crossed paths!

GA, Ponsford again. But this time below the snow line and behind goals. Happy with that.

My experience exactly. Seems only to respond to the level, never the section you want.

M50 a good spot? I usually sit in the southern stand but got this 1 as I wasn’t paying attention, hope it’s not a dry area

Yeah mate that’s a pretty awesome seat only 2 bays from MCC on the wing. Happy days!

  • PREVIEW: Fremantle

A month is a long time in AFL football. The proof of this is in the current state of the two teams contesting against each other early this Saturday afternoon at the MCG. It’s hard to fathom that when Melbourne and Fremantle kicked off the 2025 season, the former looked like being a major player in this year’s competition after it came close to beating one of the favourites in the GWS Giants while the latter was smashed by Geelong to the tune of 78 points and looked like rubbish. Fast forward to today and the Demons are low on confidence and appear panic stricken as their winless streak heads towards an even half dozen and pressure mounts on the coach and team leadership.  Meanwhile, the Dockers have recovered their composure and now sit in the top eight. They are definitely on the up and up and look most likely winners this weekend against a team which they have recently dominated and which struggles to find enough passages to the goals to trouble the scorers. And with that, Fremantle will head to the MCG, feeling very good about itself after demolishing Richmond in the Barossa Valley with Josh Treacy coming off a six goal haul and facing up to a Melbourne defence already without Jake Lever and a shaky Steven May needing to pass a fitness test just to make it onto the field of play.

  • NON-MFC: Round 06

The Easter Round kicks off in style with a Thursday night showdown between Brisbane and Collingwood, as both sides look to solidify their spots inside the Top 4 early in the season. Good Friday brings a double-header, with Carlton out to claim consecutive wins when they face the struggling Kangaroos, while later that night the Eagles host the Bombers in Perth, still chasing their first victory of the year. Saturday features another marquee clash as the resurgent Crows look to rebound from back-to-back losses against a formidable GWS outfit. That evening, all eyes will be on Marvel Stadium where Damien Hardwick returns to face his old side—the Tigers—coaching the Suns at a ground he's never hidden his disdain for. Sunday offers two crucial contests where the prize is keeping touch with the Top 8. First, Sydney and Port Adelaide go head-to-head, followed by a fierce battle between the Bulldogs and the Saints. Then, Easter Monday delivers the traditional clash between two bitter rivals, both desperate for a win to stay in touch with the top end of the ladder. Who are you tipping this week and what are the best results for the Demons?

  • REPORT: Essendon

What were they thinking? I mean by “they” the coaching panel and team selectors who chose the team to play against an opponent who, like Melbourne, had made a poor start to the season and who they appeared perfectly capable of beating in what was possibly the last chance to turn the season around. It’s no secret that the Demons’ forward line is totally dysfunctional, having opened the season barely able to average sixty points per game which means there has been no semblance of any system from the team going forward into attack. Nevertheless, on Saturday night at the Adelaide Oval in one of the Gather Round showcase games, Melbourne, with Max Gawn dominating the hit outs against a depleted Essendon ruck resulting from Nick Bryan’s early exit, finished just ahead in clearances won and found itself inside the 50 metre arc 51 times to 43. The end result was a final score that had the Bombers winning 15.6 (96) to 8.9 (57). On balance, one could expect this to result in a two or three goal win, but in this case, it translated into a six and a half goal defeat because they only managed to convert eight times or 11.68% of their entries. The Bombers more than doubled that. On Thursday night at the same ground, the losing team Adelaide managed to score 100 points from almost the same number of times inside 50.
