BDA 23,048 Posted November 27, 2020 Posted November 27, 2020 I think the question should be Why do we need footy calendars at all. The kids are into ipads these days so I think their day has passed. btw the Collingwood calendar is probably worse than Norths 4 1 Quote
Clintosaurus 7,953 Posted November 27, 2020 Posted November 27, 2020 Treloar was in the Pies calendar 1 1 Quote
Diamond_Jim 12,773 Posted November 27, 2020 Posted November 27, 2020 Never thought I'd go without a watch but haven't worn one for the last five years. Calendars are so last century For those who are into such things perhaps you could sell a digital wallpaper that changes by the day or month that could be used as a screensaver for your TV or computer/phone. I'm looking at buying one of the Samsung Art TV's that make the TV look like a picture when off. Not sure I'd want a 70" grinning Gawn on my wall though. Quote
Supermercado 2,806 Posted November 27, 2020 Posted November 27, 2020 Surely nobody buys one of these for themselves. The market has to be 99% throwaway Christmas gifts and Kris Kringles. Quote
adonski 13,274 Posted November 27, 2020 Posted November 27, 2020 The Wagner's sharing a month was a poor decision in hindsight 1 Quote

Wrecker45 3,381 Posted November 27, 2020 Posted November 27, 2020 Next to Treloar there should be a pic of Weid just to remind them of who they should have taken with their first pick in that draft. Quote
Tony Tea 2,816 Posted November 28, 2020 Posted November 28, 2020 I usually stick my calendar over my desk at work, and just as usually forget to turn the month after about March. 3 Quote

The better question is, if someone believes there is a market for this product (and presumably there is), why can't they find a way of witing to print said calendars after the trade period concludes? daisycutter 30,021 Posted November 30, 2020 Posted November 30, 2020 treloar on filth's calendar just might turn out to be accurate 1 Quote
Every Game in '64 25 Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 I agree about calendars being out of date., ?. Years ago I asked the marketers at the MFC to stop sending me scarves (you know the ones, the ones pictured flowing out of a dumpster one year). I suggested they send out just the year every season as a patch to add to one of the 30 odd scarves I already have. This would be a far more attractive scarf with a line of years on it rather than trying to come up with a new design each and every year. LESS WASTEFUL TOO. But they were having none of that. As a supporter - you know, the person who pays towards keeping the machinery operating - you'd hope to be listened to. I don't know why I thought that! Anybody who wants to support this idea could contact the club.................... (I 'm not sure they pay much heed to Demonland though, unfortunately.) 1 Quote
