Why You Should Wait Until After Trade Period Before Printing Calandars

I think the question should be Why do we need footy calendars at all. The kids are into ipads these days so I think their day has passed.

btw the Collingwood calendar is probably worse than Norths

Never thought I'd go without a watch but haven't worn one for the last five years.

Calendars are so last century

For those who are into such things perhaps you could sell a digital wallpaper that changes by the day or month that could be used as a screensaver for your TV or computer/phone.

I'm looking at buying one of the Samsung Art TV's that make the TV look like a picture when off. Not sure I'd want a 70" grinning Gawn on my wall though.

Surely nobody buys one of these for themselves. The market has to be 99% throwaway Christmas gifts and Kris Kringles.

...with him holding the premiership cup aloft.  I think I'd almost get an A0 size framed poster for every room.

If I got a 2021 Collingwood Callander from a KK with Treloar in it, I would rate it as the best Christmas present ever

To be fair, you could ask that question over many things available for sale. The better question is, if someone believes there is a market for this product (and presumably there is), why can't they find a way of witing to print said calendars after the trade period concludes?

I agree about calendars being out of date.,  ?.

Years ago I asked the marketers at the MFC to stop sending me scarves (you know the ones, the ones pictured flowing out of a dumpster one year). I suggested they send out just the year every season as a patch to add to one of the 30 odd scarves I already have.

This would be a far more attractive scarf with a line of years on it rather than trying to come up with a new design each and every year. LESS WASTEFUL TOO. But they were having none of that. As a supporter - you know, the person who pays towards keeping the machinery operating - you'd hope to be listened to. I don't know why I thought that!

Anybody who wants to support this idea could contact the club....................   (I 'm not sure they pay much heed to Demonland though, unfortunately.)

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
