Ouch!?...

...And I think he actually says he and Jake have invested in an (existing) family business. So not so risky, that support by the club! Maybe an investment in a future sponsor? (cue discussion on how we might 'use' an insect repellent association...?)

I hope Bugg isn't offended.

Hopefully we can repell Richmond's mosquito fleet.

Good luck to him for the future, though we never should have traded for a player that GC knew was cooked and didnt offer a contract to. We funded his insect repellent business starting up though i guess.

We did not really trade for him he came for free with may.

Can see that this Paul McCrory situation and on going concussion issues just getting uglier and uglier for the AFL. Going to be interesting to see how they respond.

kade has claimed that paul mccrory misdiagnosed his condition and concussions when he was at gc17

Kade Kolodjashnij accuses former AFL concussion advisor of downplaying his brain injury

Wasted 90 minutes of my life in a concussion related discussion with said individual. Was invited to follow-up lunch but declined stating that I had a prior and more palatable appointment 'sticking pins in my eyes"

They'll bury it like everything else they deem 'distasteful'

Not sure about that, they are just playing it safe by staying silent aren't they? If he has made errors the afl as his employer is likely also responsible. Infringing copyright or the like doesn't necessarily mean he made poor decisions in his role. Having said that l was always sceptical about his trade and the supposed neck issue

What I'm not sure about is the context.  It has been stated he plagiarised some of his research, not how it may have affected his conclusions.  This is what AFL policy is based upon.  If his conclusions are supported by other researchers, the AFL doesn't have a real issue and the guidelines are fine.

The second point, was he treating these players as an AFL employee or a private doctor.  While the publicity is not good, if it was in private practice, not an AFL issue.

Though listening from last night "on the couch" Kade, may have gotten very poor advice which meant he continued to play when he should have been resting.  I wonder who McCartin. works with?

he wasn't meant to be treating anyone from 2018 from the sounds of it, but was regularly still involved in clinical treatment at the afl's behest

whole thing sounds like a mess

So sorry for Kade.

I was effectively forced to move due to safety concerns about my former neighbour, an ex rugby player. I am pretty sure he has CTE ... his temper would escalate within seconds.

I didn't feel safe living there any more. (Long story.)

The issue with plagiarism is it is a clear indicator of poor integrity and feigning expertise - which I'm sure impacted his ability to correctly diagnose Kolo and others

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
