And to think we drafted Tom Scully before Dustin Martin, FFS.

Thanks Mr Hindsight. .

(Chris Grant and James Hird were overlooked multiple times by every club - picks in the 80s and >100 as I recall).

Danger has had a mare, needs to do the 1%a's and not try the spectacular...a liability to date.

Was listening to Brown on the radio last week.
Stated pretty much the same thing.
He overhypes himself for big games trying to do too much and fluffs 'em.

Turns out she's just another Richmond [censored] out've the woodwork.

Purely the reason I hoped Geelong would win.
Certainly a couple flogs at work I'll have to listen to now.

Yep likewise.

Pathetic - Duckwood more intent on looking pleadingly to the umpire whilst tackling.  Really sad.

Selwood is having a sook, manhandling the player on the ground. When is he going to retire?

Guthrie, Stewart, Duncan can hold their heads high.

The big names have let you down tonight lads...should hand their money back.

Geelongs 2nd qtrs have killed them in both this GF and their final against port. Most of the possession and play in forward half but didn’t capitalize.
both Port and now Richmond have run over the top and they don’t have any answers.

Good riddance Geelong.
Respect to Richmond. Martin is a serious freak.

STOP IT DUSTY!!!

If there was ever any doubt about the NS medalist...

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
