The Arc. Wow, how embarrassing for the AFL. Vlastuin clearly missed the ball, you could see daylight between his fist and the ball. Arc too scared to overrule.  Whately will go nuts.

Yep, will probably get a fine for that but honestly deserves weeks.

In a fair system he would get at least a week but as we know it's not a fair system.

Thought it would have been a 50m at least, happened after the whistle for the first infringement.

Pretty uninspiring game so far, hopefully the Saints make a game of it in the second half.

Poor quality game tonight. Low tackle count and bar a few minutes of Shia Bolton magic it’s been a snooze fest.

The AFL is still amateur in this regard. Could decide a flag and it’s not good enough.
if the technology is not there, stick with the goal ump

Weak as p#2ss by whoever made that decision

Just had a meal at a friends house.  They are mad Richmond.  Except for the wife.  The wife of the family invited us around not realising richmond were playing in a knock out final.  I said to mate when I walked in, sorry mate, we'll eat and get the hell out of your hair.  Left at half time.  Got home and whacked on the internet and jumped on here to Demonland.  Because thats all we've got to feed the Dee bug.  Emotions rush back to me about losing those Cairns games.  Could have been more or less locked in in the finals with a week or two to play.  We [censored] up this year.  Still bloody hurts.

Watch the AFL say it was a correct decision. They hate any criticism.

As Daisy said I can’t that getting weeks. It was a high tackle but the damage was done by Jones landing awkwardly. No justification for a suspension that I can see

The original idea of the video review was for obvious/clear mistakes. Umpires call was the correct call by ARC

Absolutely disgrace to say that was inconclusive

We could all see it at home

Saints bought players failing badly. Brad Hill scared sh-tless. Marshall their best by a mile.

Kent did well there

This is a damp squib. Richmond haven’t had to get out of second gear.

Looking forward to one of Geelong or Collingwood getting knocked out tomorrow.

Hopefully tomorrow nights match is better. This one has been a fizzer. Saints have kicked themselves out of it.

Such horrible skills from the saints.

the tigers are happy to sit back let them attack. When they get within 4 goals they get one and relax again.

He slung him from around the neck...that's where the damage was done.

He also landed awkwardly because of the slinging motion of the tackle...

...by the way who thinks we might have picked the right Freo wingman?

Nowhere near the cost but much greater value.

2 of my 3 most disliked players playing tonight, Lynch and Cochin, both snipers. The other is Stringer.

Is it true Carlisle missed the match due to his wife having a baby?? Wow

Terrible game, eps. saints kicking at goal, robbed themselves of any chance.

But you can see from the outset they could not handle the pressure that tigers bought to the game, could not adjust to the higher tempo as a team.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
