I think we need to forget about the assist from the Hawks.

Over to you Fremantle.

I’ve put in a request with the Suns to do the Pies tomorrow.

No chance Bulldogs will lose this or the next.

They are on a mission

This is turning ugly. doggies will get a major % boost by the looks of it.

I'm done. Hope we play Hawthorn twice next year

I'm sure we won't. We'll play WCE, Lions, Freo and Port twice, with our home games against Freo and Port in NT.

Dogs' percentage currently sitting at 103.4%, so it's already up 3.1%.

If Hawthorn doesn't show up at some point and at least stem the bleeding, we may not have a choice but to either belt Essendon or to rely on the St Kilda or Collingwood pathways.

Didnt think Hawthorn would lose.

My money is on the saints to lose and we beat the dons by enough to see us miss finals by about.01 of a percent.

Nothing different.

Umpires never seem to pay 'running too far' frees.

They paid quite a few marks, some for shots on goal, that went about 6 metres

We deserve this for not taking care of business on our end

Does dogs % matter for us?

Yes, even if we win next week and they lose, they could still end up ahead of us on % with us both on 9 wins.

Our %ge 106.2, theirs was 100.3 before this game, but is now up to 104.4 on live ladder. If they keep this up we'll need a solid margin next week to get over them.

If Freo help us out, it will hopefully go down as well so just need Hogan to have a day out next week.

Not to mention them losing to Freo.

Freo are much better than the Hawks and won't just roll over but the Bulldogs also don't drop games to lowly teams.

I’m back to hoping the giants beat the Saints. Giants should bring some good players players in

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Essendon

It’s Pink Lady night at Princes Park — a vibey Friday evening setting for a high-stakes clash between second-placed Melbourne and eleventh-placed Essendon. The wind-sheltered IKON Park, a favourite ground of the Demon players, promises flair, fire and a touch of pink. Melbourne has never lost a home-and-away game here, though the ghosts of two straight-sets finals exits in 2023 still linger.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 1 Steven May

The premiership defender has shown signs of wear and tear due to age, and his 2025 season was inconsistent, ending poorly with a suspension and a noticeable decline in performance. The Demons are eager to integrate younger players onto their list and have indicated that they may not be able to guarantee him senior games next season, in what would be the final year of his contract.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 2 Jacob van Rooyen

The young key tall failed to make progress during the season, with a decline in his goal kicking output. His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

Salem proved to be a valuable contributor as a reliable and solid one-on-one medium-sized defender in what was undoubtedly his most impressive season since the premiership year. He remains a highly capable rebounding option for the Demons as he approaches his 200th game at the club.
