GAMEDAY: Rd 20 vs Richmond

Featured Replies

They aren’t even trying Richmond. That’s the scary thing. They drop the ball 4 times and still take an uncontested mark in their forwardline. Words fail me.

Our terrible skills are turning promising forward thrusts into easy turnovers. I can see what the team style is trying to do, and it looks good when we do it well, like Fritter's and Gus' goals. But our skill errors make us look so terribly unpolished.

Our defensive set ups are also non existant. We are super exposed when they're in position through the middle

We can beat these idiots, can we beat the umps!?

Gold?

Preuss needs to loose 10-15kg of bulk over summer like Max did a few years back, it would improve his mobility a 1000%

Ling is a dead set idiot.

3 points at half time...ill take it!! WELL DONE DEES

Oh, incorrect disposal. Is that even a rule?

Only for our players

Well done to our boys there in the first half. Taking the game on and playing to win.

Learn to dispose of the ball correctly and even up the umpiring and we are a very good team again.

Easily our best half of footy for the year given the quality of the Opp.

Setting up for the classic 70's Demon failure

stick with them until around 3/4 time and they slowly pull away to win by 24 points

rinse and repeat

It’s Game Day and the Demons have made the long trip west to take on Fremantle tonight at Optus Stadium. Can Melbourne make it two from two to start the season, and what are you hoping to see from the Dees under the lights in Perth?

The dominant storyline coming out of Round One for Saturday Night’s clash at Optus Stadium centres on the influence of the big men. The spotlight naturally falls on two elite ruckmen who, five years ago, shared the stage in Melbourne’s memorable premiership triumph.
