Demonland 74,467 Posted August 2, 2019 Posted August 2, 2019 Mostly dead rubbers for the Dees. Best results to assist us in 2020 in terms of our bracket of 6 to play twice? ?♀️ Quote
whatwhat say what 23,880 Posted August 2, 2019 Posted August 2, 2019 only thing i want to see is suns and carltank winning so that the former can't argue for a priority pick and the latter stay ahead of us on the ladder Quote

We want Carlton to win as many games possible and get out of the bottom 6. 2 Quote

Playing Freo twice and therefore having two.. did we do the right thing by trading Hogan ... games would not be good for those of us wanting to move on. Imagine double games against Hogan, Watts and even Kent with each playing their seasonal best. Quote
DubDee 26,710 Posted August 2, 2019 Posted August 2, 2019 I reckon the Suns are a chance. Pies have half their best team out injured and maybe roughhead as well if still concussed. suns looked good last week. aside from that I'd like Port to win, because they are playing essendon and Hawks winning will be a nice reminder to North that they still suck, have no money and after their 'exhaustive search' of interviewing one person, are going no where 1 Quote

Little Goffy 14,975 Posted August 2, 2019 Posted August 2, 2019 I've not checked exactly, but I beleive Collingwood have actually named their entire available playing list in selection, once you include the extended bench for sunday (which will become the emergencies of course). Officially 20 names on the injury list, though some are test. Given that Collingwood's performance since the bye has been worse than the Demons maybe Gold Coast are in with a shot. Or would be, except they are tanking. Meanwhile, Brisbane are down to 4 injuries, with three of those being '1-2 weeks', and West Coast and Richmond are a week away from having injury lists just as low. 1 Quote
DubDee 26,710 Posted August 2, 2019 Posted August 2, 2019 Can we get the Hawks list manager? mitch Lewis pick 76 after 12 games looks a beauty Worpel pick 47. 7 clearances in the 1st quarter Quote
Ethan Tremblay 31,389 Posted August 2, 2019 Posted August 2, 2019 Is Ben Brown the leagues premier diver? That’s two for the game so far, the best one was against Sicily, 7.8/10. 4 Quote

Umpires explanation: Prevented him from running at the ball. He was leaning back into Frawley, not trying to run. He's a free kick machine Brown. I'd love him at the Dees, if only to see if he still gets paid all those frees. 4 Quote

FireInTheBennelly 4,104 Posted August 2, 2019 Posted August 2, 2019 Earlier in the game, Hawthorn skill error, Clarkson goes berko. Over at the Dees, skill error, ho hum, just another day in paradise. Quote
FireInTheBennelly 4,104 Posted August 2, 2019 Posted August 2, 2019 I'd love to compare Sicily's behaviour towards the umpire there to Lever the other week. 2 Quote
jules7 816 Posted August 2, 2019 Posted August 2, 2019 OMG can’t stand Brown, umpires love him. Quote
rjay 25,427 Posted August 2, 2019 Posted August 2, 2019 Interesting to notice over the last few weeks and particularly tonight. The umps have obviously been instructed to call play on for kicks going backwards if they don't go a good 15+ metres...probably more like 20... Marks are being paid for around half the distance when they go forward. Another interpretation... 1 Quote
pitmaster 3,592 Posted August 2, 2019 Posted August 2, 2019 It still surprises me just how ineffectual Tom Scully has proved to be. 1 2 Quote

YesitwasaWin4theAges 6,840 Posted August 2, 2019 Posted August 2, 2019 Hawks will be down for a while. See how many of their so called 75k members hang on for the journey. 1 Quote
At Least I Saw a Flag 5,354 Posted August 2, 2019 Posted August 2, 2019 Frawley looks cooked. And Scully was very average. These are the only things I seem to get any joy from this season. Sorry, there's also seeing the filth lose. Quote
Diamond_Jim 12,778 Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 At docklands watching the Western magpies aka Port. Hardly a free seat in general admission. Port were going nicely. Would hate to see essendon win another close one 1 Quote
DubDee 26,710 Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 Essendon moron fans booing a free kick to port. Umps have cheering for the dons all game. 12-7 free kicks Quote
