Agree. No ability to judge the footy. Needs to go back to Casey.

Probably needs delisting to tell the truth. His run and pace is exciting to watch,  until he butchers the disposal or fumbles when receiving the footy. Also goes missing during huge swathes of the game. [censored] it's depressing.

No they are both just average players with one attribute and that is agression/hardness.

Jones has been a good servant, Finished now. Viney is not a Captain. Captain Chaos for mine.

Saw vision of Jones on bench he had the look of a player who knows his time is up

WTF? He hasn't had 3 good quarters for the season, let alone this game. Frost had been the beneficiary of the omac hate on here, but seriously the guy has no football IQ, looks lost whenever the ball is not directly in front of him, and turns out over horribly at least a few times a game. All while just doing a specific job, not playing a zone like the rest of the defenders.

No idea.

When a team is so slow, Frost stands out like a beacon.  His tackling has gone up a notch too.

My only criticism of him is to run and take them on more.

Is unsustainable football

He has speed and strength but no idea really how to use it. He is consistently out maneuvered or pushed under the ball when in good positions. When he does run with it he'll either fluff the kick or send it to an out number then stand there watching as it comes back over his head. He's an athlete not a true footballer

He is not a defender.

Should be played on a wing with his height and

speed. When Lever and May return Goodwin might actually work it out.

I thought they should have moved him forward last night onto Grimes or vlauston, told him to stay with them and only run forward if we can get it over the top. He will stick with a man, but his inability to read the play is a big issue, if he's taken to the ball he's then half a chance, but that's a much bigger issue in defence

He & Hunt on opposite wings. I hope when May/Lever r back Goodwin does it. I've thought they should be wingers 4 ages. Also Fritter must be a forward not a defender.

Love the idea of Hunt in principle but he is not a  natural footballer.

Fritta is a forward, once again re-iterated.

2021 ???

No...  I mean we've got to import some players at the draft this year,  and reboot for better play  in 2020.

Nothing to do with grand finals, if that's what you meant.

Wing or Half-forward...  I think Wing, and he can help our inside F50's.

Jones needs to be put either forward pocket or back pocket, or back in the middle, his pace and ball skills are being found out on wing. He’s been an absolute champion of the club and needs to be able to go out on his terms!

Did he play wing against Richmond? He certainly played large periods of the game in the backline and spent some time as the starting 4 at centre bounces, but I don't recall him being used on the wing. Thankfully. My preferred spot for him right now is as a small forward with occasional runs on the ball.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Collingwood

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.

  • AFLW REPORT: St. Kilda

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking.  We filled our boots with percentage — now a whopping 520.7% — and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourne’s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasn’t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's  six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his team’s unfulfilled potential rang true … well, almost.
