It’s the same flogs every week that blame umpires & commentators. FCS forget about them and direct all your anger at our Football Dept, Recruiting & List Management.

You get the results you deserve!!!!

Mate no one is blaming commentators for this loss.....

Made a Prelim last year, and have played maybe 4 decent quarters of football this year.

"There are signs of improvement". So there are some small signs of better defensive play for a half? That's it?! That's the story?

Just wow

If you want to spew up , watch Goodwins presser. He is positive and thinks we are moving in the right direction

Well, should you be still on Essendon’s payroll then that would be correct.

Mate, there are several Posts slagging off how Tonight’s commentators are waxing lyrical over the Tigers. Just not important.

When you kick over your shoulder you are quite likely to turn it over. You do that because you cant get a meter on your opponent to turn chest facing the target. We are unfit which accentuates our lack of speed.

Valid point @Damo

So perhaps Goodwin in his pressers,  detailing how surgery has impacted on fitness,

which impacts on availability of athletes

which impacts on roles

which impacts on running patterns

which impacts on available strategies whilst unfit

which impacts on technique

which impacts on 4qrt efforts

which impacts on confidence

which impacts on execution

which impacts on trust in others

which impacts on subjective things from the fans such as , belief, hardness, desire of said team, players etc...

could be a useful thing?

Those "high picks" were 2nd and 3rd rounders. Taylor is amongst the last  who should be sacked.

But of course, you'd know best

We used to get players like Howe, Kent,  TMac in later rounds. Now we just get a bunch of Casey players because Taylor isn’t bothering to scout further out to find the best available.

Outside of Oliver I can’t think of any other pick Taylor has nailed.

I'm one of them, and not once did I blame it for the loss.  I'm insane, but not that far gone.  And it was annoying have to listen to it all night.  I apologise if you enjoyed it.

I feel numb after watching that. I loved the Anzac tribute so I am glad that I went along but the game was horrible.

You talk absolute [censored], olisik.  You must be loving the result tonight.

I'm so glad i didn't attend the match. I won $100 betting on the Tigers though. Money for old rope.

I put $50 on Hawthorn at $2.04 a couple of hours ago. Those odds have now shortened to $1.70.

Glad someone else can see it. I've been on about this for years when half of demonland lauded him as some kind of saviour. With what he has had at his disposal, he has done nothing special. Wouldn't be in the top 8 recruiters.

You're clueless mate. These picks were the highest we've had. A recruiter should nail these picks... A pick in the second round should not be an stab in the dark. Picking weideman when he had question marks all over his endurance was a blunder. Name one player we have drafted recently bar Oliver that would get a game in a top 4 side??

I don’t enjoy it or dislike it. It means absolutely nothing, it has no importance in the big picture of what is happening with my footy Club.

If you think Kent and Howe (at MFC) are "nailed", you need to look again

I thought we might have a chance of pinching this game as our efforts were good up till half time, but we kept wasting the ball with poor disposal and no forward connection again.

Richmond just opened us up and played like the well drilled machine they are.

Preuss tonight  may have helped , but for some reason we have lost our skill overnight.

We are soft and lazy.

The Richmond Way - tough grit. Knock on.  Shepherd. 1%s. Tackle hard. Man the mark.  Chase. Run and run and run and run. Smother.  Stand up.  Deliver the footy. Run to create ahead of the footy.

reiwoldts answer tonight on how the club brings in youngsters so seamlessly: 'ahh, we have a game plan thats pretty simple really.  It only requires effort".  He then wore an expression of someone who had mistakenly let the cat out of the bag.

Let’s talk about the MFC lovechild Viney, who cannot hit a target, who attempts to break every tackle, despite not having the strength to bust through, who handballs at his teammates feet, who is just a fknnn good average player.

Mate, you genuinely think that all the Casey players we drafted were dead set best available when we picked them? Surely your taking the [censored]. Surely

The amount of times we punched the ball when unopposed shows our complete lack of confidence

Massively overated from day one. No idea as a Captain and he is totally exposed this year with the runners not on the ground as much to direct things.

  • REPORT: Carlton

The text messages started flooding in shortly after quarter time. One read: “Is Melbourne even at the ground?” Moments later, as Carlton’s Elijah Hollands kicked the first goal of the second term, the Blues held a commanding 43-point lead. By then, the Demons’ only score was a behind kicked by Brody Mihocek nearly five minutes into the game. Ironically, Mihocek would also register the last minor score of the day after the game took a dramatic turnaround.
