Gee its very low scoring. Lets hope next week we have geelong at 4 goals during the 3rd quarter and we have dominated. Hawkins set shot he missed at the beginning of the 3rd he would have kicked that against us.

Part of me wants the cats to win.

I’m normally critical of most things the AFL do but I fully support their efforts to open up the game more and get less crowding around the ball.

It's a one-game sample (last night's game wasn't overcrowded or over congested), it's humid (players have said this during breaks and they're clearly struggling to grip and mark the ball) and both sides are sending strong pressure.

The game is opening up as we move into the third, too.

eagles at $7 is great odds imo they won’t lose at home so should finish top 2

Yeah, not many teams beat the Eagles at home.

Hold on a second...

Would be better if they are zip and two and are two and zip.

How good is it not to see a swarm of team runners on the ground zoning?

Looks much more like footy is supose to look like.  With 6-6-6, all they need to do is further limit the number of interchange and it might actually be reconisable as Australian Rules Football.

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
