[censored] me dead. How many times do we need to kick to that exact same spot, and have it intercepted by THE EXACT SAME PLAYER, before we decide to kick somewhere else. Christ some serious questions need to be asked about our players.

That idiotic kick from Tyson was the equivalent of last week's Gunston poster which resulted in our goal.

He’s not alone, but Joel Smith has had a shocker today. Not sure it was a great move bringing him in for a prelim so early in his career. He still hasn’t shown he’s even afl standard, let alone ready to play finals.

I think oscar has done a good job today

He has, but someone will pipe up no doubt.

They have been exposed today. No doubt Lever’s return will help. The last 2 weeks the oppositionhave only had 1 good KPF, we still get exposed with 2 decent tall forwards.

Omac and Frost are an example of where we lack polish and need to be supporting a primary KPD

But today shouldn't be their measure as their midfield mates completely torched them

Vanders has been good this second half. Thank god someone has the balls to take on the opposition instead of firing off a panicked handball.

I actually think Oscar has played well considering the complete lack of midfield pressure and the quality of player he’s been playing on.

Also if Petracca doesn’t learn to kick this summer he needs to F off. Sick of his goal kicking.

If anyone has come to the conclusion that Jordan Lewis is to blame for this then you need some serious psychotropic medication.

Although it is an expedient thing to have a whipping boy.

Another possible interpretation?

He’s having a shocker and he’s not on his own

I’m off to the Doctor tomorrow morning for some of that Medicine

Believe he’s been a liability all year

Cant have a bloke in the side for excellent finger pointing who won’t chase or tackle except on the odd occasion when he feels like it

Have they taken Gawn off for a reason? Injured??

Fritsch would be feeling dirty right now. Not that he was the difference between a win or loss but Joel hasn't exactly set the world on fire.

Oscar has been pretty good. Lewis, Jones, Tyson have all had shockers.

Oh God, how did Weid miss that? This is like nightmare fuel.

New boot supplier please

We have been exposed by our own poor play and NOT by Kennedy and Darling. Eight goals for Meth Coast in the first half resulted from crappy handball turnovers.

Crappy grand final coming up. Sorry to offend the purists but I'd rather have seen GWS and Gold Coast

Let’s not let this debacle degrade us or define us

Many many positives from the season but mentally and physically overwhelmed on the big stage.  It happens.

We have come a long way.  Time to move on and look ahead to how and where we can improve.

I think we thought we were good enough against the Cats this year, up to Semi's.

The Hawks as well, but was a slightly bigger stretch for us... we overcame almost too much, in one sitting, to digest in the one season...

With the new charges coming into the side this year,,, Spargo, Weidemen, the new Frost, jSmith, Fritta,  we've gone realistically as far as anyone could expect, in 2018__

Fritsch might feel better that he wasn’t part of this debacle.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
