As I  said....pathetic knee jerk reaction.

After all, Lyons “shrewd tactic”backfired on him

A La the rushed behind deliberate rule, and the below the knees rule

AFL not good at anticipating the unintended consequences

Why somewhere as “civilized “ as Texas.  Why not Baghdad or Kabul or Aleppo?

Have watched a soccer game in Baghdad. Can confirm the locals would explode watching an AFL game.

There's a part of me which - if we win tomorrow - fears the E Coli Wobblers more than the Tigers. They gave us a bath on Queens Birthday and that man Cox looks onimous ( sic ), too onimous for my liking...

Imagine Bruce..... "Durka, Durka, durrrrrrrrka"!

The pies are playing above themselves tonight, hard to do that 2 weeks in a row as it takes a lot out of the team mentally and physically.  We have been consistent for the last 4 games.

Don't think it's just the Tigers that are coming, coming, coming in that commentary box!

Riewoldt has been phenomenal.

Pies going cold?

20 hours of extra time would be good.

Pretty soft high free for that goal.

21 points the difference.

I’m really torn with whom I want to win, I suppose I’m pretty impartial. But to see CollIngwood lose after being 53 points up would be pretty satisfying.

And it'll take a fair bit out of the Tiges you'd imagine.

"Cox, Cox, Cox"! Is Bruce auditioning for a commentary gig at next year's Mardi Gras?

Was getting excited at 21 points at the prospect of Collingwood losing from 53 points up, but then reality hit and the game's over now.

A satisfying way to watch Richmond's hubris come crashing down, but I still cannot stand the concept of the 2018 Collingwood being in the Grand Final. It just feels wrong.

The Demons lacked some polish but showed a lot of heart and took it right up to the Bulldogs in an attempt to spoil their finals hopes ultimately going down by a goal at the MCG.

  • Thank You Simon Goodwin

As Demon fans, we’ve ridden a rollercoaster of emotions over the decades; the heartbreaks, the near misses, the wooden spoons, and the endless waiting. But through it all, we clung to hope. And then came Simon Goodwin. Before he ever wore red and blue, he was a champion in his own right. A five-time All-Australian, two-time Best and Fairest, and two-time premiership hero and Captain with Adelaide, Simon Goodwin was always destined to lead. When he transitioned from the field to the coach's box, first as an assistant at Essendon, he began shaping a new legacy.
