We may as well recruit him in 2021 for nothing and get some closure.

Retire a Demon. Like it!

Hope you drill 3 and have 21 touches

As long as they lose, tbh, I don’t give a hoot what he does or doesn’t do

Would like them to lose both games to end the year out of finals running so that if - worst comes to worse - we can “fall” into finals

I don’t. I hope Port get flogged and lose to Essendon next week as well!!

Watts is in charge of his destiny, always has been.

The excuses put up for his underwhelming  Football Career always make me smile.

He has always had other things on his mind...

He’s come from privelage. Never had to fight for anything. Never played local club football and fought for a jumper.

He dominated School Footy and i mean dominated, so he never had to extract that little bit more out of himself.

I thought Roosy would get him to that level, and he certainly improved in a lot of games, but it was in his psyche by then.

He has done ok.

Just kicked a goal against the Filth, they will love that!!!

He's averaging 13.9 disposals and 1 goal per game.

I suppose miracles do happen.

We’ll see what he’s made of.. Back on the ground, needs to work through his pain and stand up because his team needs him badly right now.

Looks like Port have got SFA out of the 4 ex-demons they have on their list. Bummer...

Port's off-season recruitment drive has been a failure. Watts (worst season since 2010) and Rockliff (worst since 2009) based on ranking points. Motlop just so, so. #AFLPiesPower

I want to message my Port supporting mates but I’m figuring I should keep my powder dry until tomorrow arvo.

I've copped so much crap from Hawk supporting mates of late, I'd love to be able to give them the finger soon ?

Is it the knowledge (albeit biased) that we most likely are a better team than them?

Yeah I wouldn't get ahead of yourself. We're still more likely than not to miss finals. It is Melbourne we're talking about.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
