I just listened to Goodys press conference and reading between the lines, I donโ€™t think Garlett will be back yet.ย

Iโ€™d be happy about that.

ย

This is my last game for 3 weeks, as I am off on holidays next Friday.ย

I am also currently battling a nasty throat infection, so the struggle between complete recovery before holidays, and seeing Viney play, is real.ย

Hope you feel better soon. You canย see a lot on the TVย that you miss at the ground.

Forced?

ย I think it would be a major mistake to leave him out at this point!

We played Crap opposition last week and several times when in the forward line I thought if Jeffy were playing he would have swooped on that and goaled!

Too good to leave at Casey!ย

By "Forced" he means "Unforced"? Does this person speak English?

Huh? Maybe he thought forced meant omissions and such

Just putting this out there. I remember Jack Viney's first game. We got smashed by the Lions and he was the only one who cared. He was a kid. Welcome back cap.

Weid outย Injured.

T. Smith or Pedo to come in? Based off form Bull should definitely get the gigย

Can anyone shed any light on the Weideman injury?

Pedo for me as he can play the ruck role, does smith play that role, would rather tmac roam around all day and not worry about the ruck

We got smashed by Port in his first game but yeah he was probably our best that game. I also believe it may have been that day he was being vocal and trying to get his teammates up and Sylvia mocked him for it as it was his debut.

ย

Itโ€™s no shock to anyone which one is now our captain and which one is out of the league and accused of stalking his ex I guess.

  • PREVIEW: Collingwood

Way back in March we contemplated the possibility of a Demon resurgence after Simon Goodwinโ€™s summer of love.ย Manyย issues at the club had seemingly been addressed, key players were returning from injury and a brand new day was about to dawn. We imagined the coach pulling a rabbit out of a hat. The team would roar up the charts, push aside every opponent and make its way to a Grand Final ending in ultimate triumph with Goody and Max holding the premiership cup aloft under a shower of red and blue ticker tape.

Weโ€™re back! That was fun. The Mighty Deesโ€™ Season 10 campaign is off toa flying start with a commandingย 48-point winover the Western Bulldogs, retaining the Hampson-Hardeman Cup in style. After a hard-fought first half in slippery conditions, the Dees came out in the second half and showcased their trademark superior class, piling on four goals in the third termand never looked back.

  • REPORT: Hawthorn

The final score in Saturday's game against Hawthorn was almost identical to that from their last contest three months ago. Melbourne suffered comprehensive defeats in both games, but the similarities ended there. When they met in Round 9, the Demons were resurgent, seeking to redeem themselves after a lacklustre start to the season. They approached the game with vigour and dynamism, and were highly competitive for the first three quarters, during which they were at least on par with the Hawks. In the final term, they lapsed into error and were ultimately overrun, but the final result did not accurately reflect their effort and commitment throughout the match.

  • CASEY: Box Hill

The Casey Demons ended the regular season on a positive note and gained substantial momentum leading into the finals when they knocked the Box Hill Hawks off the top of the VFL ladder in their final round clash at Casey Fields. More importantly, they moved out of a wild card position in the finals race and secured a week's rest as they leapfrogged up the ladder into fifth place with their decisive 23-point victory over the team that had been the dominant force in the competition for most of the season.
