Assuming:

In: Tyson, Hunt, Weideman.

Out: Bugg, Frost, Lewis.

Think this improves us on last weeks team.

Hogan to swing between CHF and CHB?

He’s become a really handy player for the Tigers, I had my doubts he was going to make it.

Agree with that, thought he was going down the road of a B grade plodder in and out of VFL but credit to him. Outs for Tigers are handy for us

CHB?

No.

Reiwoldt is Richmond’s only tall forward. Frost was dropped because of this and form. Hopefully doesn’t ever come back in.

Hogan needs to play his roaming game and all Weed needs to do is make a genuine contest at every opportunity. If he doesn’t mark it, bring it to ground.

swing/roam same same. Has been spending a bit of time across half back anyway in recent weeks. Just on marking, we dont have many good marks in the side either.

Vlaustin and Caddy in doubt. Though I suspect the latter will play.

Frost dumped for this week (and possibly forever IMO)

Tigers only have 1 big up forward. Frost didn’t have an opponent. He will play against sides with the right match up

That was Wagner's brother Corey playing yesterday, not the senior Wagner.

Bit difficult to tell from the radio commentary however he seemed like he saw a bit of the pill!

Edit: Caddy now ruled out says Hardwick

Big outs for RICHMOND. Vlaustin is critical down back. He had 17 kicks and 10 marks against hawks.

Call me a pessimist but we will not beat them, even with those outs.

I even forgot about Tyson!  He is more of a certainty if he is over his illness than the others...

Reports from training stated he trained fully on the weekend. Plus, No Tyson No Melbourne.

We are 0-2 without and 2-0 with this year.

Would have struggled to get a game anyway in my opinion.

Unless something dramatic happens I can't see him on the list next year.

I think he will only play now if injuries mean we are desperate for a tall option.

Dumb question, but does anyone know if MFC members (I'm an 11 game member) need to buy tickets for this game or just rock up?

I find Ticketek very confusing.

EDIT: It is recommended that members reserve a seat I have since found out.

We shouldn’t be relying on Hogan in the midfield, there’s plenty of kids in the side. We need him to kick 70-80 and he could if Goodwin left him alone.

Harmes as a ruck is beyond stupid by the coach

Just hope you say the same thing about Hardwick and Shaun Grigg! They did win a flag with it mind you Febel!

Have a look at this Clint.

Seems that  you can get general admission with your MFC membership but it could be pot luck getting a seat. There is always standing room in the Southern Stand.

cheers

They are missing two role players.

We are missing Viney and T Mac.

The Tigers are lucky.

My guess it:

In: Stretch, Weids, Tyson, Hunt

Out: Lewis, Bugg, Frost, one of: Harmes/Melksham

We can’t continue to carry both Harmes and Melksham, I agree with your ins/outs.

Disappointed in Harmes so far after reading good reports on him during the off-season. He came back in great shape having shed some kilo’s.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
