Is on the show tonite for any foxtellers.

Hopefully Garry will pose him the questions we all want to hear.

As was suspected by many, Brayshaw and Tyson were not deemed to be in the best 22 based on their preseasons.

Pathetic decision by the selection committee to leave Tyson out for Maynard who did not show he was an AFL capable player throughout the preseason.

Interview really didn't give much as they were asking him questions that he would not be able to answer honestly as the captain.

In which way?

I got the impression that he didn't think he needed to go.

Is that what you thought?

That is a disgusting allegation directed towards our captain - I'm somewhat surprised the moderators have allowed it to remain the way it has been worded.

Just because your opinion differs from an answer he gave to a question - As a supporter base, we cant expect respect until we can display respect as a supporter base.

However, I'm sure you are prepared to come out from your anonymous "keyboard warrior" status and direct the allegation direct to his face - but then again I won't hold my breath.

Why did they ask about a Port Adelaide player, Jonesy wouldn't know much

Lighten up buddy. The man can have an opinion.

No he stated it as a fact - my point was more to his tone - but each to his own. Again, as a community, if we want respect you need to show respect.

Had he stated it as an opinion which I clearly pointed out in my answer I recognised it as an opinion - think we need to watch how we refer to our players. But each to their own - I also just stated my opinion.

Does it upset you that I have respect for our players both on & offline?  I have this funny feeling the players are hoping people can follow my lead ( but you may not be aware of that) - but it does not surprise me your inability to follow our players.

IMHO Demonland has a fantastic ability to support and show respect for the players in the podcasts.

You obviously support people calling our captain a Liar - interesting. But again - each to their own.

He lied through his teeth about the camp as well, notably the player involved in the coalition against it.

Anyway, what do you expect? He's the captain, they're media trained, they're not going to say anything controversial on TV if it means getting a teammate in the [censored].

Again, I have no problems with you having an opinion on our captains character.

Personally, I can see the difficult situation he has been placed in infront of the cameras - but I'm not going to slur his or the clubs character without getting all the facts.

Just not sure anybody here has all the facts - but again fine to state your opinions.

Players want respect they can bloody well earn it by performing consistently. I have also stated on here multiple times that we will play finals this year, but i guess that isnt "respectful" enough for you.

You upset me because you single handedly destroyed Demonology, and refuse to accept responsibility. YOU are to blame.

Inability to follow our players? You mean acting like a smitten Faboi like yourself?

You will never get respect while you unquestioningly throw yourself at the players feet. You should be ashamed of yourself. No self respecting human being would follow a yes man like you, nor should they.

You are entitled to your opinion. Might want to check your facts - but such is life.

You think our captain is a liar - sorry, I think thats a tough call on our captain.

I'm not prepared to take the word of a "keyboard warrior" - if you are fine with that I have no problems with that.

Honestly wish the club would minimise media contact. Seems every time a senior player makes a public statement we singularly fail to back it up in our next game

Pointing out when someone is lying is not "stating an opinion." It's called "calling out [censored]." I understand why it's done, but I'm going to call it out for the BS it is.

Can everyone please calm down, and can someone give a tl;dr summary of the interview and statements Jones made? FFS....

His comments:

Has freedom to play

He's a mate! BS

Glad for him

The content would have been discussed before the show - the media guy for Jonesy could have framed a better response for him
