I just whis they could [censored] off the New Balance 'NB' from just under the neck.  It makes the jumper look too busy and I bet that they are not contributing anything like what Zurich is.  I'm not about to loose any sleep over it, just anoying.

NB has been pretty good for us to date Balls, we’re not the All Blacks and can dictate.

I couldn't help but notice with Jason day winning todays "Farmers Insurance Open" that he is sponsored by Zurich. Photo of Jason, family and golf bag shows the "Zurich" logo on his bag. Clearly a very global company and hopefully the winning culture rubs off on us.

Interesting. Made me have a quick look at Zurich's sponsorships. While I haven't found a list I came across this story which claims that Zurich's US division was one of the 122 biggest sponsors in the US in 2015. It's in the group within that 122 which spends the least (US$15-20 million per annum), and being alphabetical, you have to scroll right to the end to find their name, but I draw comfort from them at least being considered to be a "big sponsor".  Reiterates that it's a great get for us.

something on the value of sponsoring sports - and presumably, by extension, sporting clubs - here:

https://mumbrella.com.au/starting-figure-value-sponsoring-sports-495992

interesting theory:

Researchers are starting to build the case for sports sponsorship, showing it increases employee morale, for example. My colleagues and I created the Sponsorship Power Index, to try to track sponsorship objectives such as sales and brand awareness. We have proven that factors like the length of the sponsorship, the brand fit with the event, and the amount spent on “activation” (advertising the sponsorship) correlate with sponsorship success.

Had to write an article the other day on a brand consultancy's annual global index of the 500 most valuable brands. I won't bother explaining their methodology but Zurich was ranked at 232nd worldwide. Incidentally, Lexus was 172nd, while the Melbourne Football Club didn't make the list.
