No, more please nut.

A detailed description of your "role plays" including dialogue and, particularly, information on costuming. Perhaps I could provide some additional props.

You might also consider posting a video.

Flip through my contacts for a Port supporter to bag, realise I don't know a single one of them.

You should call your insurer. You may be entitled to a discount on your home-and-contents premiums.

This post made me laugh out loud at work, well done mate.

I've already started the texting with my good PA supporting mate, Dave. He's provided some gold over the years so hopefully come tomorrows final siren we're in front.

"Tipping the Dee's tomorrow mate"?

Dave: "Tipping them to get pumped. We play the G better than your mob."

Now it's just a matter of waiting.... and hoping... and then.... unloading.

Donate another $50 to Demonland.

Know that my hard earned will be well spent on $26 for Premiership.....at least for a week thereafter.

I'll probably just have a quiet night in with a steak dinner maybe a side of waffle fries and a glass of red.

After dinner I'll break open a box of Cadbury Roses and put the replay on.

Gold.

So I arrive in Paris on Sunday, (going to watch the Midnight Oil show-super excited to see the last last tour) will watch the replay with a very new Melbourne member.

[censored] this.

We are 9 and 7 with all but Jones back, yes there will be some rust but we are at home and there are no superteams and we are a good team.

There is no surprise here - we can win this game and if Viney, Salem, and Tyson don't need a game to get into the momentum of the game - we have enough weapons to win well.

Im going straight to the club shop and buying a soft shell jacket... been looking at it online all year.

Its a luxury, but i will be happy to pick one up if we win.

Oh, im also sending a text to my boss, whos son plays for Port, reminding her that he should ask for a transfer to a successful club. (She also controls the roster so it will be my last game for the year)

How does it fit?

She wont wear down my Viney like determination though.

Happy days!

Couldnt even find the club shop. Did a full lap of the ground and it either wasnt where people said it was, or someone expertly camouflaged it to look like a concrete wall....... None of the MCG staff i asked knew either (and i asked 4 different staff)..

They just directed me to the caravan type mobile shops scattered around the ground and the only sizes they had left were 3XL and small...

I ended up buying an Alex Neal-Bullen badge instead.

Left very disappointed.

But then i remembered we won and it wasnt so bad.

*shrug

GO DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!!!

  • REPORT: Richmond

The fans who turned up to the MCG for Melbourne’s Anzac Day Eve clash against Richmond would have been disappointed if they turned up to see a great spectacle. As much as this was a night for the 71,635 in attendance to commemorate heroes of the nation’s past wars, it was also a time for the Melbourne Football Club to consolidate upon its first win after a horrific start to the 2025 season. On this basis, despite the fact that it was an uninspiring and dour struggle for most of its 100 minutes, the night will be one for the fans to remember. They certainly got value out of the pre match activity honouring those who fought for their country. The MCG and the lights of the city as backdrop was made for nights such as these and, in my view, we received a more inspirational ceremony of Anzac culture than others both here and elsewhere around the country.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The match up of teams competing in our great Aussie game at its second highest level is a rarity for a work day Thursday morning but the blustery conditions that met the players at a windswept Casey Fields was something far more commonplace. They turned the opening stanza between the Casey Demons and a somewhat depleted Richmond VFL into a mess of fumbling unforced errors, spilt marks and wasted opportunities for both sides but they did set up a significant win for the home team which is exactly what transpired on this Anzac Day round opener. Casey opened up strong against the breeze with the first goal to Aidan Johnson, the Tigers quickly responded and the game degenerated into a defensive slog and the teams were level when the first siren sounded.

After five consecutive defeats, the Demons have now notched up back-to-back victories, comfortably accounting for the Tigers in the traditional ANZAC Eve clash. They surged to a commanding 44-point lead early in the final quarter before easing off the pedal, resting skipper Max Gawn and conceding the last four goals of the game to close out a solid 20-point win.
