Bugg is delivering

He has delivered for a month, now. Some just chose to ignore it. Love what is bringing to our side.

Great first term, pressure immense and our decision making has been excellent!

Pressure has been real good.

Pressure has been fantastic, keep that up for the rest of the game and I'll be happy win lose or draw

Little bit like how we played them in the pre season game. Good start and they kept coming at us. We hung on in that game.

Pressure has been unreal by us :D

Was impressed by OMac that quarter, and that Petracca goal was sseeeeeeeeeexxxxyyy

Smart football!

Hard, precise and really promising!

To hold the Dogs scoreless for a quarter bar one behind in the first minute is a real credit.

Well done ... let's keep it up

Dogs still haven;t leaned how to handball

Back 6 holding up very well

Hot quarter. Great pressure

He's set us up, we're firing.

Great first quarter, we need to back it up with the next three.

The pressure us intense by the boys, they have picked up where they left off from QB.  Looks like we have finally got a game plan with a fast break that works at Ethiad.

Big game - I'll be there in spirit but as I'm heading off to the colonies in Asia I'll be on a flight for the entire game. I will however, fire up the ipad as soon as I land in KL hoping to read of another famous victory.

Overseas Holiday ?

When I lived in Romsey locals went to Bacchus Marsh for holidays and pick a few Apples for  fun

Defensive stuff. Just wow.

I reckon Oscar became a man last week.

10 minutes into the second quarter and Dogs on 2 behinds. Absolutely noone anywhere picked that.

Oscar's looking seriously legit today.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
