Whoever the genius was at Williamstown who decided erecting a giant inflatable bouncy castle in that pocket, thereby blocking the view of the only scoreboard at the ground for most people on this wing should be hung drawn and quartered, diabolical planning!

i've like the look of hibberd thus far.. seen some low trajectory passes hitting the target 40+ meters out. Copped a cheap shot from williamstown bloke after he kicked it at one point, left him winded. but all good, you can tell his just pumped to be out there.

The breeze is fairly light and going towards the forward pocket at Casey's end. However, it's not helping the Demons at the moment as Willi has had most of the play this quarter.

Scores are level.

Good to see Pederson getting the same amount of touches and more goals in 1 quarter of footy then Weiderman was able to get in 2 weeks of footy.

Hopefully he is fine. We really need him to get a run of games under his belt and build up confidence and form. Would be a big difference to the team if he can do this. He was great in his first season!

Keep fighting it out Casey, plenty of time to take control.

Would be fantastic for Trenners to build up some genuine form, I still have high hopes that he can return to our 22. I still see him as an important (potential) addition to the senior side.

Based on the first half Hibberd,Pederson, Brayshaw and obviously Hogan MUST come in. Hannan,Weideman,Bugg and possibly Melksham all back to Casey.Hibberd for mine has been the story. We are crying out for his distribution and leadership.

    Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded.     Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was.
