Bernie Vince - MRP?

Featured Replies

That's the way Bernie plays, agree with it or not, he won't change. He plays it hard and goes out side the lines but he lets the opposition know he's around.

The panelists agreed that it appeared to be insufficient force, I missed the clip they played of the incident so I can't comment on it.

Just been released - 2 weeks for striking (intentional), low impact. Down to 1 week with an early plea

Casboult got a fine for rough conduct (careless), low impact.

Not sure how these muppets operate

Like muppets, it seems

He does play hard, but that particular "incident" was neither hard nor outside the lines.   It was a bicep to the back of the neck....would hardly draw a free for high contact, but the MRP just seem to continue to find new ways of proving their inconsistency and incompetence.

And I agree that he does need to be very careful - he is being scrutinised.

The club must challenge this. We wont be pushed around.

Absolutely shameful decision

Shameful decision on Bernies behalf yes.

Hope the club does not challange one bit.

It was a soft decision.

Are you saying he should have got more?

But he deserved it.

What a load of rubbish.

There was bugger all in it!

I keep seeing the vision of him giving Membrey a love tap in the back of the head with his bicep but in the reports it says the suspension is for hitting Webster, were there two incidents?

There were a few incidents on Saturday where he goes close (and over) the line. He was very lucky last year as they viewed vision but he wasn't cited. They're not accidental. He will hurt you if he can. Not injure but hurt. Make them earn it. I love it. I reckon he was fantastic on Saturday. He's genuine tough, and he's ours.

And I'm sad he's missing but I wouldn't change him. He's great.

Not a leader's bootlace, Bernie. Stupid again. Why do it? You're not being tough.

Silver lining: Bernie will come into the side round 3 after some rest.

His previous record cost him here. There was nothing in it, but once your card is marked there isn't anything you can do about it.

If this is all you base leadership criteria on you should probably start following another sport.

Forget about challenging it, how about pulling up the bloke that has a issue of doing it time after time.

Pull your head in Bernie!

mmmm, be careful who you say that to around here...some folks don't take kindly to that talk... effing irresponsible of him.

Is there the possibility that Vince is being instructed to go out and upset a few opposition players? Even at the risk of an occasional suspension

Jono Brown was a [censored] leader too then?

Got what it should have.  Silly from Bernie, but that's who he is.  Don't want him to change.  Take the good with the bad.

Off the ball, high and intentional.  Don't really care about "impact", as it's not really a good look.

I always remembered the Hawks during their reign pushing the boundaries.  I think this is one of those cases.  Just simply that Bernie went a little too far.  Take the medicine, move on.

Fresh as a daisy to go head to head with Dangerfield

Wright went off for a concussion test afterwards so your claim of ''There was bugger all in it'' just looks silky.

He is a leader FFS and is prone to sniping every now and then.

Copped what he deserved and now we move.

I'm a little annoyed that Varcoe's premeditated full-speed sniper charge that cleaned up an unaware opponent got the same as Vince's idiot flappy-arm moment.

Did somebody say muppets?

And some need to take off the red and blue glasses.

Could learn a thing or two.

It isn't Membrey. I thought it was at first too because of the arm tatts, but it is actually Wright.

So it seems the 'bicep' incident is the one...

Ah ok now I know why I'm confused, was getting Wright mixed up with Webbster

Why, oh great wise one? What great teachings have you got for us poor, simple weak minded fools.

The only thing I could possibly learn from your post is that you think your better than others.

When you over react like Wright did, of course they're going to see if he was not concussed.

Did he return to the field? Yes. Concussed? No.
