Not a bad idea, except after a while people might think you're a Hawthorn supporter.

Here here , its all said here hope everyone had a great day and hope we all have a great year off the park and a better than great ON the park.

Went to my girlfriend's place yesterday afternoon, during the exchanging of presents I unwrapped a copy of "The big book of AFL", I was instructed to turn to the section about the MFC, in which I found return flights from Sydney to Melbourne for the round 2 game which is our first home game against Carlton. I already have flights booked for the QB weekend. This means a minimum of 3 trips from the bunker to the G this year as we will be playing finals.

Cant bloody wait.

Bloody show off

My god-daughter who gives me a Christmas present each year that is quirky, gave me a pair of Melbourne toothbrushes. I will brush my teeth with them with pride.

My Christmas present to a nephew was an unworn Dees Bomber Jacket of a few years vintage that I simply cannot wear due to the number "58" emblazoned on the upper sleave . Sure , it's meant to remember our foundation year but to me it represents my shock and disbelief as a  nine-year old that we could lose the 1958 GF to the old enemy.

She sounds like a keeper!!

As an aside, did the MFC create a Christmas video this year along the lines of 2011?

  • Thank You Simon Goodwin

As Demon fans, we’ve ridden a rollercoaster of emotions over the decades; the heartbreaks, the near misses, the wooden spoons, and the endless waiting. But through it all, we clung to hope. And then came Simon Goodwin. Before he ever wore red and blue, he was a champion in his own right. A five-time All-Australian, two-time Best and Fairest, and two-time premiership hero and Captain with Adelaide, Simon Goodwin was always destined to lead. When he transitioned from the field to the coach's box, first as an assistant at Essendon, he began shaping a new legacy.
