The Dees could have the so called dynasty under Northey and Balme,it all goes down to how the club is run and whether we choose the right sort of players. Under Neeld we thought we were getting something special instead we got a disaster,we picked up plenty of rejects as no one of quality wanted to play for us. Re-build times ……. blah blah.

Sheedy had nothing to do with who they drafted and didn't even know his own players...

True story, when Phil Davis went up to talk to Sheedy at breakfast early in the piece he (Sheedy) was looking for a pen to sign him an autograph. Someone had to tell him Davis was his co captain, not a fan...

Happy for the dogies, just shows that a real team can beat a manufactured one, despite the level of manipulation on the part of the AFL.

Hope we can play them for the flag next year, what a game that would be.

I've heard from a current giants player that the cultute up there isn't very good, plenty of playing favourites going on

The problem I've got is that the Giants will lose players that aren't getting a game and continue to bring more talent in through the draft. They will get picks for McCarthy, Stuart, Marchbank, Hoskin-Elliot etc etc. 

Theyve just made a prelim final and over the past few years have lost Tyson, Hombsch, Frost, Treloar, O'Rourke, Boyd, Miles, McCarthy, four blokes to Carlton. 

Where does it bloody end......

Because they have had so many picks they can take a risk in the draft on a smokey like Lobb. Other clubs can't afford to do this.

I hope your right in saying the cultures no good up there. When they eventually do bottom out and it will happen I hope their players look forward to playing infront of crowds of 5000 or less.
