We will win this not because we are on a roll or the Saints are not as good as us but because we now have players with better skills who are not mentally damaged.

To me there is still an element of lack of confidence if the mindset isn't right. And we are still prone to awful errors that lead to turnovers and help feed a poor mindset. We have improved, undoubtedly. But there will still be hiccups with this crew.

Lotto numbers please..

Just PM me ;)

One player wouldn't have made much difference child, back in your box you go.

Another inside Mid which kinda means that you have options tpo use another player on the outside which is where we got smashed!

You don't mind calling me a child and if that is your response then put up a credible one yourself re selection oh oracle of the ages!!

Now just to show you what I mean, If IF we had of won many on this site would have said Jesse Hogan made the difference! As it was would St. Kilda have won without Reiwoldt?? I doubt it!

Food for thought Oracle I await your Response with interest

"The man with the child in his eyes"

also I note in your profile Jesse, that you are a female poster is that corect??

I am out of the country for the next two games AF so how does this grab you?

A win this week followed by a loss the following.

We can beat  GCS they have been devastated by injury and the Dogs have too much talent for us.

Realistic, but I reckon we might give them both a run for their money. You could argue the Dogs are hamstrung (pun intended) by injuries as well. As someone else mentioned, I'd say we're more likely to win the next two and then get run off our feet by a quicker Brisbane team.

We're very much on track for finals if we can win 2 of the next 3 though.

Sorry AF I find that hard to agree to. We are a ten win team this year you saw on Saturday that we can still be very ordinary.

We have a much improved list but still have a lot of wet behind the ears kids who need another couple of years before they propel us into finals games.

Please tell me who miraculously makes the transition to becoming an outside player because we brought in another inside player.

Your argument has merit if you say we should have brought in Billy Stretch as he is pure outside run but as we got smashed on the outside Oliver would not have been answer to that.

Brayshaw gets more outside ball than Oliver does ( and I'm not saying Brayshaw should have played either)

Agreed. But if we do get to the 12 game mark, judging by the tightness of the competition this year, that could get us in. And don't worry, I'm with you, we'll certainly have games that we lose where those younger players will run out of gas and our 'leaders' will fail to stand up.

Play Bernie HBF and release Lamumba upfield! Oliver plays as a mid!

Another option Hunt plays also as an outside runner upfield!!

Plenty of options there!

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k

OVER YET? by KC from Casey

The Friday evening rush hour clash of two of the VFL’s 2024 minnows, Carlton and the Casey Demons was excruciatingly painful to watch, even if it was for the most part a close encounter. I suppose that since the game had to produce a result (a tie would have done the game some justice), the four points that went to Casey with the win, were fully justified because they went to the best team. In that respect, my opinion is based on the fact that the Blues were a lopsided combination that had
