Turned it over, on par with his Brother!

Hopefully nerves BUT!??

On what basis was he given this game?? Not in best at Casey over a period of weeks, so if you are rewarding form then how did he get a game??

FMD, do you actually want this club to move forward and succeed picket? Sinking the boots into a first gamer who actually looked ok in his first game is a very low act indeed. Guys like OMac are potentially our future and you display nothing but pure negativity. Maybe Roos was right, maybe you should take a good, hard look in the mirror!

BS curry. OMac did ok and showed some promise for a first game. Roos and the selection team know far more than a couple of anonymous, smart rrrse posters who don't go to Casey games. As if you have any idea about the prospects of MFC first gamers! You're the guy who proclaimed Brayshaw should not have played round 1, in which he gathered a stack of tackles and possessions. Keep sticking your neck out mate! Bwahahaha!!!!

Or, maybe they just wanted to have a look at him / throw him in the deep end.

I think he acquitted himself pretty well under fairly trying circumstances and as a stick insect kph in his first year.

I'd like to see White too and thought we might have by now but I'm not angry and fixated about it.

Maybe, just maybe the match committee thought it might be unwise to bring in JKH or White to play at CHB ?

We are out of big blokes ! What other option was there ?

Unless you want to enjoy the comical sight of ALL of Jamar, Gawn and Spencil stomping around the expanses of Freo's home patch. Wouldn't that have been fun !

FWIW I thought the kid went ok

Oh have a cry, look at you just get stuck in at the drop of a hot you pathetic creature

Picket stated a couple of FACTS, just because they are unpleasant you don't need to wet your little panties over it

I think he showed enough to suggest he will LIKELY BE A GOOD PLAYER. The coaches would have been happy and he should get another game next week. For list management purposes it was important to see what he and others such as Harmes, ANB can offer. It has a bearing on the types we may look to recruit during the happy season.

Keep digging curry, but don't drop your dummy in the hole. His 'facts' were wrong. OMac produced a first game worthy of selection. 15 disposals and 7 marks. Fact. Not that you'd know anything about first gamers! You must be spewing that Brayshaw has done so well this year, especially after you boldly stated he didn't deserve to play round one!!! Nine tackles in his first game! You're soooooo bad!

Wrong again curry! Keep digging....up this time!

So many flogs who've feathers I've ruffled... I forget which one you are

Are you the one who had a cry about training starting late and demanded the club give your kid a toy? That's actually hilarious

Or is it some other wound you are cradling from something I said years ago

Get a life

I'm one of the many who call you out regularly for putting both feet in your mouth. Tell us again what band compo we'll get for losing Howe as a FA?!!! Bwahaha! I'll leave you on your own to continue with how little you know about footy. Good luck!

Stop teasing me or I'll complain to the club and get myself some sort of plush toy for comfort

Who put a big stick up your butt lately?

Sheesh. He's a first gamer, don't we have bigger fish to fry on the grill of negativity?!

Go read the Casey reports, it's pretty clear.

Younger and fringe players aren't being trained to get in the bests at Casey every week, they're being trained and coached to work on their weaknesses and then execute specific roles on match day.

It's called development.

    THE CAVALRY ARRIVES by Megg

The injury plague which has beset the Demons 2024 campaign is finally starting to dissipate and with consecutive wins over GWS Giants and a 2-point nail-biter in Adelade, a sense of optimism is rising.  Some commentators are now asking whether the Dees can make finals? A huge surprise with team selection this week when it was announced that champs Olivia Purcell, Paxy Paxman and Eden Zanker would play.   Hallelujah!  The cavalry has arrived. St Kilda missed the finals last season on pe

    GOLDIE'S METTLE by Meggs

On a perfect night for football at the home of the Redlegs, Norwood Oval, it was the visiting underdogs Melbourne who led all night and hung on to prevail in a 2-point nail-biter. In the previous round St Kilda had made it a tough physical game to help restrict Adelaide from scoring and so Mick Stinear set a similar strategy for his team. To win it would require every player to do their bit on the field plus a little bit of luck.  Fifty game milestoner Sinead Goldrick epitomised

    REDLEG PRIDE by Meggs

Hump day mid-week footy at the Redlegs home ground is a great opportunity to build on our recent improved competitiveness playing in the red and blue.   The jumper has a few other colours this week with the rainbow Pride flag flying this round to celebrate people from all walks of life coming together, being accepted. AFLW has been a benchmark when it comes to inclusivity and a safe workplace.  The team will run out in a specially designed guernsey for this game and also the following week

    REDEEMING by Meggs

It was such a balmy spring evening for this mid-week BNCA Pink Lady match at our favourite venue Ikon Park between two teams that had not won a game since round one.   After last week’s insipid bombing, the DeeArmy banner correctly deemanded that our players ‘go in hard, go in strong, go in fighting’, and girl they sure did!   The first quarter goals by Alyssa Bannan and Alyssia Pisano were simply stunning, and it was 4 goals to nil by half-time.   Kudos to Mick Stinear.
