Who's at full back for Coburg? Cale Morton?

Glad to see my spray of Casey has lifted them

Good coaching George.

footy under the AFL, has become very orchestrated, manipulated, adulterated.

IMO its no wonder these results happen when they throw games in the interest of picks, & also in the name of development & next years season...

what abut the now, & the people who put their heart soul into helping, or supporting with time, driving hours, & money, gate costs, etc...

respect has left the building in footy, gradually over the past 17 years.

I'm over it. they're playing so they can miss finals (not), is totally disrespectful to people.

KC how did Kent go? Hoping he got through unscathed.

Do you think Tom Papley is a serious chance to get drafted? Has kicked 25 goals at TAC Cup for Gippsland Power this year and he seems to bob up for a goal every time he plays for Casey. I think he is a solid built half forward?

I'm interested in Papley too. The goal totals and possesion totals for his TAC stats seem solid and the Casey twitter guy is obviously a fan.

I wonder what his athleticism is like because he seems to have the skills for VFL at least.

you don't think so wyl just let the shambles carry on & do nothing. never mind you can snore all you like up there tomorrow.

Apologies if it's been mentioned previously, but is Tom Papley the grandson of former Swan Max Papley?

I know Max moved to Bunyip and has a son David. Tom is from Bunyip.

Pretty sure he is.

I vaguely remember Justin Plapp mention that and that he is a player to watch out for at the Round 1 Casey luncheon.

Apt choice of user name.

what, you think not trying to win games of VFL, & play finals is good for footy. pulling player away at selection, & mystery disappearances throughout the season, you really need to take of your afl coloured glasses, & look thru clear lenses for once.

Well they didn't do that very well today, coming back from 20 points down to win....

I'll tell you what, I'm over you having a go at me whenever I have something to say. What say I catch up with you before the Carlton game and or any other time and we can just have a little chat. I don't care what this costs, I have had enough of your continued criticisms of my posts and personal attacks.

So is this happening or not? Anyone going to be streaming it online?

If I don't get a report on Kent's hamstring I will seriously lose my shyte.

I don't know if they are doing it this year, & at the halfway mark of this season I thought they'd changed, but over the last 7 weeks or so, I'm not so sure things have changed... its not trying to lose every game, come on, but if you want to miss going deep into September, then finishing 7th or below is close enough for many AFL affiliates, who want they're players rested thru September/October.

this is bad, very bad, for the game.

A month or so ago when the MFC injury list was dwindling and Casey was playing up to 15-16 Demons in their side, they were winning games. It's quite likely that today they will be down to 9 or 10 and, if he plays, I don't see Dean Kent having a big role in the outcome because of his lack of match fitness. That doesn't augur well for Casey's finals prospects because next week they take on top four team Sandringham at the Beach Oval.

And for those who will miss big Jack ~

Is Fitzy injured or ill again?

OMG he showed a turn of pace for anyone, let alone a giraffe.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
