I shall give myself a jolly good Flogging!

again !

I know some posters have said this before (and not followed through) but I will not post here until the season is over.

Tbh if we lose to Bris what more can be said that hasn't been said in the previous weeks, months and years.

It will be incredibly disappointing if we lose and will feel like we haven't improved.

I won't be suprised at all.

The Bears have a good midfield, they have pushed a lot of sides for 2-3 quarters this year.

It won't be an easy game...(what are they??)

Roosy wants a Free Agent this coming draft

God dam we need one.

The clean cannot happen fast enough...

I shall give myself a jolly good Flogging!

What will you do if we win? Give yourself two?? :):unsure::blink:

Will let BBO give me a flogging. It can't hurt anymore than watching Melbourne lose every week.

I dont even want t think about losing this game

No, just no

Wow to the people who think we are a sure thing, has last week taught you nothing?

I think you and I should immerse ourselves in a bowl of hot chocolate sweet and forget the footy!

Go on a shooting spree in the cbd .

I will take several random hostages from the street and go into a 7/11.

Then I will purchase a red and blue slurpee for everyone and turn the gun on myself.

Gee I hope we win.

No danger - you'd [censored] miss!

Frank Thring - a little bit (well a big bit) twisted. However a wonderful talent.

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
