nup we know hawthorn will make the 8. We dont essenscum in there. Hope they get done. Besides it funny to scroll through bomberblitz and read the comments when they are losing.

Guess he won't get that premiership on a silver platter after all. Well, best of luck with the recovery, Chip.

Was interesting to hear the comments from Ratten earlier on 3AW when quizzed about Frawley's form. Reading between the lines it seems the club are a bit perplexed at how long it's taking him to become educated on the Hawks' structures. Bomber mentioned that players are constantly pointing at him to get into the right positions. You'd think another season on the sidelines could really hurt his integration with the team.

The bigger question: does Lake go on next year?

For all those seemingly pleased ar Frawley's season just imagine what it would be like if he'd stayed. No Brayshaw and Frawley still giving nothing.

Nightmarish really.

Please, we got Brayshaw as compensation. No need to be bitter.

oh i was glad he went

But the Karma Bus has hit him hard

Zero Sympathy.

He played most of 2014 in 3rd gear I fkn hate that attitude

Sam Mitchell miming putting a needle in his arm to Essendon players. #aflhawksdons. One of my friends is a essendon fan and hates mitchell with a passion so that would have gone down well. They reckon mitchell said jab jab jab.

fans on bomberblitz calling for mitchell to be suspened or fined for the action.

None of them will come out and say it publicly, but the opinion of Essendon amongst the 17 other clubs is about as low as it gets. Players despise them and everyone with two brain cells knows what they've gotten away with (so far).

Just as long as they keep him for another fortnight, please!

I can see the dump Hird campaign hitting fever pitch once we destroy the drug cheats. Never underestimate the scrutiny clubs seem to go under whenever they lose to us!

The best bit that theyve backed him for so long and spent so much money protecting him so he can coach that they almost cant sack him

The karma is strong with Essendon. And the irony is so, so delicious.

I take back what I said earlier about not knowing who I wanted to win today. The feeling in my chest right now is heartwarming.

Thanks Hawks!

"I feel sorry for him. It must be hard to be James Hird at the moment."

"Unlucky."

"A victim of circumstance."

"As human beings, we have to help each other. We have to help Hirdy."

Christ, the media apologists are sickening.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
