Brayshaw - was all class

Cross - wonderful in conditions

Dawes - always provided contest

Dunn - was rarely beaten

Frost - quiet before injury

Garland - a disciplined game

Garlett - crucial momentum killers

Hogan - was often outnumbered

Howe - attacking but loose

Jamar - probably broke even

Jetta - totally owned Betts

Jones - great under duress

Kennedy-Harris - creative but limited

Kent - rarely looked dangerous

Lamumba - prolific and creative

McDonald - continued stellar form

Newton - showed some energy

Salem - cool and composed

Tyson - gave little run

vandenBerg -aggressive and willing

Vince - a dynamic game

Watts - embarrassing and insipid

Dawes- can not catch.

Cross- slow,unskilled,clogger

Howe- Out of form

Garlett- Go to specsavers

Howe...... send him forward

And watch him kick it out on the full there.

You're a bit tough on Tyson. Thought he tried pretty hard and was always trying to extract the pill.

Bang-on with Watts though. Putrid game, back to his old self. Soft and scared.

Really? 20 touches, 5 marks and 80% disposal efficiency isn't all that bad I would have though. Had an off day, like many, last week but was much, much better this week.

16 odd points up 2 minutes from quarter time, Jack Watts drops two absolute ponies, and bang bang, we go into quarter time with a slender 2 or 3 point lead. Sometimes he makes it really hard for us.

Hogan needs to learn to kick as well, could be the complete package if he does

Hogan - Plays with intent.

Brayshaw - Balanced, classy, smart.

Garlett - Not very effective.

Tom McDonald - All Australian form.

Col Garland - Good, solid game.

Dom Tyson - Needs to lift.

Jack Watts - Better than that.

Mark Jamar - Battled on well.

Dean Kent - Future in balance.

Daniel Cross - Hospital ball specialist.

Chris Dawes - Still a spud.

Sam Frost - Can not kick.

Christian Salem - Player for future.

Harry O'brien - Probably our best.

Nath Jones - Gave his all.

Bernard Vince - Made Patrick cry.

NO HE'S NOT

Said this a million times before.

When its your turn to "go" you Flippin well GO.

And jackie boy mmmmmmmmmmmm dont go.

Chook Fowler - time will tell.

I really hope you're right but today he lost me. He really stood out as being weak physically when all his teammates were having a dip.

Bitterly disappointing.

Nonsense.

Agree. I must watch a different game to others, but I think Kent was good today, and I actually think he has been good in the first two rounds also.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
