I have an old corolla which will make it ok...looking for someone to come with me to share petrol and accommodation. Desperately poor so can only do this with help. The plan is to drive to Holbrook .

Thanks for the concern all. As if I give a FF!! As I stated on another thread, I mouthed off wonderfully during the the first half but copped it back thereafter! I was even called an ignorant fat [censored] .. unfortunately I had little defence via either via the scoreboard or my regalia.

Found a delightful Nepalese Restaurant in Manuka and purchased dinner for the freeloaders and the squeeze.

We then moved on to a private "club" recommended by Biffen. I would have usually quite enjoyed the clientele but with the disappointment of the game just couldn't get into the mood. Handed out a couple of basic whippings (the yokels were impressed) and returned to the bar.

Quiet drive back. Didn't realise I'd forgotten the freeloaders until the squeeze woke up at Gundagai. [censored] em - they can fly back.

Yes,i have met BBO,When getting treatment for depression the shrink recently gave me the all clear.

When leaving his office he made the comment "could you please ask Mr BBO to step in.

Passing him in the waiting room was such a revelation.6'3 bald and fatter than a bobby calf and wearing some kind of plastic get up ensured me that BBO was all that the shrink needed to complete his thesis on neanderthal man.

Still,id accept the lift just for the chits and giggles.

I originally hoped that special robert managed to find a ride after the bizarre tangent this thread took. Now after seeing the game, if he didn't manage to find a ride, he should send flowers to BBO and friends as thanks.

    REDLEG PRIDE by Meggs

    Hump day mid-week footy at the Redlegs home ground is a great opportunity to build on our recent improved competitiveness playing in the red and blue.   The jumper has a few other colours this week with the rainbow Pride flag flying this round to celebrate people from all walks of life coming together, being accepted. AFLW has been a benchmark when it comes to inclusivity and a safe workplace.  The team will run out in a specially designed guernsey for this game and also the following week

    It was such a balmy spring evening for this mid-week BNCA Pink Lady match at our favourite venue Ikon Park between two teams that had not won a game since round one.   After last week’s insipid bombing, the DeeArmy banner correctly deemanded that our players ‘go in hard, go in strong, go in fighting’, and girl they sure did!   The first quarter goals by Alyssa Bannan and Alyssia Pisano were simply stunning, and it was 4 goals to nil by half-time.   Kudos to Mick Stinear.

    Fremantle hosted the Demons on a sunny 20-degree Saturdayafternoon winning the toss and electing to defend in the first quarter against the 3-goal breeze favouring the Parry Street end. There was method here, as this would give the comeback queens, the Dockers, last use of the breeze. The Melbourne Coach had promised an improved performance, and we did start better than previous weeks, winning the ball out of the middle, using the breeze advantage and connecting to the forwards.

    With Casey Fields basking in sunshine, an enthusiastic throng of young Demons fans formed a guard of honour for the evergreen and much admired 75-gamer Paxy Paxman. As the home team ran out to play, Paxy’s banner promised that the Demons would bounce back from last week’s loss to Brisbane and reign supreme.   Disappointingly, the Kangaroos dominated the match to win by 50 points, but our Paxy certainly did her bit.  She was clearly our best player, sweeping well in defence.
