Does a Toump and Salem beat that? (Be nice if they all had a break-out year this year!)

I want the full house. Toump, Salem, Barry, Hunt and Viney to all step up and show the world that we have the scariest young midfield in the competition.

If we can get Kent, Tapscott (if he is still there), Spencer et al all through a pre season unscathed, this will be an improvement in itself, Nev Jetta had his first full pre season ever last year

Nathan Jones has been our model of consistency, why?, because he is durable and hasn't missed a pre season since he started

I like this thread because it reminds me that things can click quickly.

If we have 7 or 8 Neville Jettas this year, then we can rise pretty quickly. We have stability, we have what appears to a be a stable and consistent footy dept.

There is enough latent talent on the list for it to be conceivable.

    UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

    Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024.     Demonland Trackwatchers ventured down to Gosch's Paddock for the final week of training for the 1st to 4th Years until they are joined by the rest of the senior squad for Preseason Training Camp in Mansfield next week. WAYNE RUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS No Ollie, Chin, Riv today, but Rick & Spargs turned up and McDonald was there in casual attire.
