I saw Wines talking to Viney at the MVP awards. I know they're mates but could it be more?

#WinesinRednBluein2016YouHearditHereFirst.

I'd rather he stayed at Adelaide than went to bloody Geelong.

Sick of clubs being able to prolong their time at the top thanks to free agency. It's an abomination.

In total agreement, if he's not Melbourne bound I'd prefer him stay a Crow. Hate how the likes of Geelong and Hawthorn have continuously been the clubs of choice for any player, keeps the competition uneven.

He has tweeted about a few Melbourne players now.

Quick some one stalk all his tweets and see if he tweets about us more than any other club!!!

Did you guys see what Petracca wrote back though?

"Adelaide called. They want you back @patrickdangerfield "

Amazing!

Not what you would write if you thought he was coming to your club. (Mind you the players would be the last to know I suspect) Suggests he assumes he is off elsewhere.

I wouldn't mind a statistical breakdown and analysis either, if someone has the time.

I went through Petracca's instagram and I can see that pic but there is no comment like that.

Not sure if serious or it has been deleted?

As a first year player he would have no idea. There have been no substantiating rumors which means, if true, no one knows.

Screenshot which was posted on Facebook. Could be a hoax but not sure to what end.

We could be onto something here.............or not, or maybe we are?

Then if it's been deleted that makes things even more suss...

Suss as in Petracca knows he is leaving, like most suspect...

I don't think it indicates where he is going to.

I'm sure he deleted the comment after realising it was a bit inappropriate whilst Adelaide are still in the finals.

I doubt Danger would have found it overly amusing.

But perhaps Petrac does know something we don't...

Petracca confirmed switching codes to NFL next season.

I did. Great comeback.

Kid is a legend!

Jeez people love to read too much into stuff.

Dangerfield says, "Mick Dundee wants his hat back" and Petracca responds with "Adelaide want their player back".

Nothing more than friendly banter.

Yes ,but why go to the trouble of deleting it soon afterwards?

Dangerfield is apparently having lots of fun winding folks up with social media.. a bit of a game to him...just saying

Yes ,but why go to the trouble of deleting it soon afterwards?

I suspect Petracca thought twice about its "tone".

I agree with him.

Yes ,but why go to the trouble of deleting it soon afterwards?

The PC police probably suggested it be removed.

I think we are all taking this "must be coming to the Dees" with a truck full of salt.

ET we went fing nuts years ago... we are all still around after our last decade of mediocrity.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: West Coast

Epic battle alert.  This Sunday, Casey Fields hosts a coach’s showdown pitting the wits of the master Mick Stinear (92 games, 71.7% win rate) against his protégé Daisy Pearce (16 games, 43.8%). Still early in her coaching journey, Daisy’s record doesn’t yet reflect her impact — but she’s already the best-performed coach at West Coast.Dais’ is mythic.  Like Katniss Everdeen, everyone either wants to kiss her, kill her (sporting metaphor) or be her.  Toothers Daisy Pearce is a role model, someone admired for their heart, humility and humour.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.
