Sorry bud, didn't look at when you posted it, my bad. I'm a tad over the top about this cause it's one of the few things I actually have a bit of inside knowledge on.

Btw, for the Fitzpatrick lovers & haters out there, Chris also still thinks he's going to be a star one day.... Dunno if that's a blessing or a curse, much as I know Chris & really like the bloke, his record is a little bit of a mixed bag when it comes to calls like that.

He did say that McKenzie would play 300 games.

Yep....... Known to get a little too caught up in the hype our Chris.

Despite his faults & failures he really does love the club though...... Possibly to the point of blindness! Lol

Paddy won't be going anywhere!! I know for a fact he won't even be put up as discussion from Adelaide !

I don't know why but the excessive exclamation marks make me question the validity of your post.

I tend to agree that Fitzy still can be a star for us and l continue to look through rose-coloured glasses at the upside of Watts, Toumpas, Salem and Gawn! There is no reason why any of the five cannot develop into superstars of the game because (despite all the pundits) they all have unique attributes!

Haha mate you can believe what you want. Paddy will be a crow this year and next.

Listening to AFC talking about it now, I find it very hard to believe he is going anywhere let alone to us.

Or, David Noble is decent at playing poker.

Did you hear it? I suggest anyone who can, listen to the interview.

Can't listen.

Do tell :)

Very adamant that Pat is not up for trade, he is happy where he is and that stars like him are very hard to come by and take years of development so why would they trade one? Sounded quite convincing.

I think ruccuito's slip up re danger is more indicative than noble's comments, I feel it's more danger's call than the Adelaide footy clubs.

Yeah, superstars never go anywhere...... Unless they want to of course.

People are missing the point here. If Danger asks for a trade he WILL most likely be traded. It isnt up to Adelaide to offer him up - its up to the player asking if he can be convinced its worth it - like an offer that could set him and his family up for life.

Of course Noble is going to say this....

.... whilst we still have not had pick 3 confirmed for Frawley. ;)

Let me have this theory that AFC is not letting him go, or i will get my hopes up again!

You can have your theory for the rest of today ;)

Regardless of what happens with Danger, the MFC looks like it will be a key trading figure this trade week, especially if we land 3 for our compo pick, which should make for some interesting rumours and trades coming up. Viney and Taylor will be busy boys I reckon!

I have posted previously and it has been corroborated by others that there is a rumour emanating out of Dangerfield's home town that the $ offered by Adelaide have been unsatisfactory.

The manager is doing his job of trying to extract as much $ as he can by investigating and reporting his value.

I suspect that AFC may in fact be having some issues being able to retain all of it's required players whilst balancing the books.

if and when Pat asks for a trade then the AFC will come to the party , if we can mange to convince him to come to melbourne then he has to ask and tell AFC he wants out

once he says that they will then look at trading him this year as they will get much better draft picks from us then AFL compo pick next year if at all they get one

give it time and wait and see, we might still be lucky
