It was like watching (and supporting) the Bloooos. The red logo was invisible.

The club has committed to this heritage design - 1300 player names on it - I guess in the hope/expectation that they will sell a quantity.

A century ago our boys played in blue with a red trim around the neck & lace up area. This should be our heritage strip.

Plus this and the reverse are my choices for alternate strips. IE mostly navy & mostly red.

Sorry for being ignorant on this one but why did we wear that strip against the Cats? What is wrong with our traditional jumper?

It was terrible in my opinion.

A dark blue mass of nothing, red emblem is almost unreadable.

God knows who thought it was a good idea but an tragic fail as far I can see.

Between our own ineptitude and the AFL crap on playing in white we seldom see our real jumper.

Why is it we make it so hard?

it is definitely odd to wear a jumper that REDUCES the amount of Red. especially against a team with that much blue

Today being Wednesday means there's nothing much to discuss of real import. So, it's as good a time as any to raise two matters about team clothing that don't actually matter in the overall scheme of things...but I'd still like to see changed.

1. Is it too difficult to put players numbers on the backs of their pre-game warm up gear? Not everyone recognises players from over 100 metres away.

2. I always think of our colours as being predominantly blue with some red. So why can't we have the coaches and support staff in clothes that are predominantly blue with some red. For many years (and please correct me if I'm wrong) it seems we've had the support staff in mainly red with a tiny bit of blue. And while I'm not in the fashion business, I'd be prepared to bet that clothes predominantly blue with some red generally look better than the other way around. (PS: If Cameron Ling joins the club, his colouring and red clothing will be a disastrous combination.)

I would rather our current white one AF

i dont mind the reverse version ...blue MFC on red. I know Clint Biscuit and I amongst many have advocated this for a long long while.

Its red and blue..Im sorry I really just dont thing we ever should play in either WHITE or Royal Blue...both are yuck !!

So instead of wearing our dark navy home guernsey which clashes with some teams, we'll wear this dark navy away guernsey which clashes with the same teams?

Sounds like a sensible new development in the clash strip debate.

    A number of Demonland Trackwatchers swooped on Gosch's Paddock to bring you their observations from this morning's Preseason Training Session.     Demonland Trackwatchers were out in force for training at Gosch's Paddock on Wednesday morning for the MFC's School Holidays Open Training Session.     Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training.     There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training.     Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning.
