Its that time of year again & we our group is in at the club on Mon/Tuesday nights doing sign ups. 18 volunteers renewed 56 members this week to get the ball rolling. We are certainly welcoming any new faces to the group. Maybe u or a fellow Demon is interested. Further details from Lizzie in Membership at the club /19.

Volunteer Team We completed the reserved seating project over two nights. Thanks to Pete K, Pete G, Pete W, Heather, Rosalyn, Tim, Geoff, John, Julian, Dee & Trish. $16.380 of sales & numerous seatings settled & serviced. The club offices are rippling with images of the new logo on garments stationary & signage. I like it. Renewal will start mid Feb. Hoping for a good summer & a great winter.

An excellent day at Melbourne’s truly unique golf course. Fantastic that we can self cater, enabling Trish & Tricia to take us to 5 star cuisine. The major winner’s trophy again goes into the Grimes cabinet. Well done Nathan! The other score reported was 24 golf balls lost & 38 others found. A net gain!! Tx to club member hosts Richard & Robyn for assisting & “YES... we would love to come back, please”. Great to see those non golfers who popped in for lunch & added to the company. Ditto to Michael of the Demon Phillipines branch who stepped off a 737 & still managed lunch & 9 holes. Sleep well mate!! For the future, if you are a non golfing Demon, but would like to share lunch at this fantastic venue, let me know by reply for future events.

We still have spots for golf at the Frankston private club on Friday 30th. It is purely a social day with fellow Demons. Hit offs are 10am & then from 2pm with lunch included at 1pm. A successful night thanks to those who made it in Monday night after Sunday’s hangover. We got through a big volume of calls & secured several hundred refreshed emails & mobiles that will go into the club’s database. Thanks to Pete, Pete, Pete, John, John, Murray, Rosalyn, Trish, Geoff, Geoff & Graham. The club is continuouosly looking to improve its database records of members so encourage your Demon mates to advise the club of contact changes.

MV Team Calls to parents of juniors last night & 30 renewals resulted Tx to Pete, Pete, Rosalyn, Lorraine, Graham, Murray, Perrin, Steve, John, John & Geoff. Max King called in after 6 & interacted throughout the room. He is a good communicator. Tonight 15 senior players are coming in to continue the junior calling. Volunteer Team Another productive 2 nights thanks to Catherine, Tricia, Geoff, Geoff, Graham, Peter, Peter, John, Murray & John on Monday night & Rosalyn, Heather, Liz, Julian, Peter, Peter, Geoff & Geoff on Tuesday. A dozen renewals Monday & 7 last night. We are doing the more removed targets now, so renewals are tougher, but often they would have been lost to the club but for our action. Next week is MONDAY NIGHT ONLY. The club will have the players in Tuesday night for a junior ring around. Make it if u can. Geoff
